Totally agree man. CS matches feel exactly the same when played back-to-back; it just can't compete with the variety GA has in heroes, objectives, maps, gameplay... pretty much everything
Arcade should be updated with the Instant Action AI. There is a mod that do this, and you basically have Blast offline, which is obviously a lot of fun.
Yeah I still quite enjoy Arcade's simplicity now and then, but it would've been nice to have the improved AI. Instant Action is full of more immersive fun though!
I'd like Arcade to have more control, for example, you can have a duel on Crait as Vader and Obi-wan. But, you play on the Supremacy or GA maps. If love if you could do Luke V Kylo on Geonosis. Think of the treats that offline players could get!
I just played arcade yesterday... :D every hvv team I got was so full of xmas noobs I couldnt stand to play with them, HS was full of 500 level tryhards calling me noob so I went to play arcade and had blast for an hour :D
I got this game around Christmas and have no problem on any modes I could carry my own you might have to look within if you have issues on the easiest modes

Supremacy is killing GA. I couldn’t careless about Supremacy now. I used to play it all the time. I now think the best modes are HvV and GA. Always have and always will
Yugioh Master Strategies they are the heartbeat of the game... supremacy is cool and all but GA and hvv is what keeps people. I play hvv mostly, but ga is the only other game mode I play now
Galactic Assualt and Ewok Hunt are my favourite game modes, there's just something about being chased down by Ewoks on Endor at night that is so scary for me
I’m gonna be the one to defend arcade I like it for the customization options and actually being able to use the hero’s I want to without someone stealing them If IA had more options in regards to amount of health, ability recharge, amount of bots, and all the multiplayer modes made single player then that would top arcade by far
I love co-op! I was getting pretty frustrated being thrown into a game of Galactic Assault and getting dominated by everyone with upgraded weapons and stuff. It's nice to get some time to level up a bit and get used to the gameplay and heroes.
The most painful thing about extraction is that it was one of my favorite modes in the first game. But who wants to play the same couple of maps over and over again?
DEADLYANT it was amazing when it first launched. I remember having a blast playing it, but they never added any maps to it again. It died as a result. If they added more maps to the dead modes, all of them would be so much fun again.
Extraction is my favourite to play, but I can't play it so... Hero Showdown is the most fun. I play Supremacy the most because it is brainless killstreaks.
Hero Showdown should've been in Top 3 honestly. HvV isn't so great because it's full of many bugs and lags that causes you to not have a good time or feel the full experience. Hero Showdown on the other hand is more of a better mode where you can showcase your skills and have those extraordinary duels. HS should be up there in Top 3 instead of HvV.
I agree, I was neglecting Hero Showdown a lot up until recently when suddenly I decided to give it a try and found it too be so much better than the ability spam-fest that Heroes VS Villains can be

I 100% agree with u on hero’s vs villains, and how it would be really good if people knew what they were doing besides trying to take on 4 people at once. I wish they had like a tutorial thing for each game mode for new players so they can understand what the game mode is and the best way to play it
As much as I love Supremacy, I still think that GA holds the candle of being the best gamemode in the entire game, In my opinion. I played GA yesterday after not having touched the gamemode for months and I had a blast! Endor, Naboo, Death Star II and Tatooine are the best maps for GA along with some other good maps such as Kamino and Yavin 4. Also, GA feels more cinematic than Supremacy in terms of gameplay experience.
I agree with you, but i can't put it in first place because there is always chaos, explosions and snipers, and i get really frustrated at times; supremacy is less chaotic
Yeah it's dead now everyone is concentrated on scariff supremacy it's really annoying that you cant have more objective based big battles because of it but it will probably come back once the hype dies down
The one thing I want added in supremacy, is being able to hop into a ship and fly up to the big ships up above for the next level like in the og battlefront 2, instead of having a cutscene

coming from a battlefield standpoint, supremacy is perfect for us who love it we love conquest and the matches are perfect. GA was just too short to me but it is like rush and that has been missing from battlefield
Arcade is so underrated. It's a good mode to take a break if you just want to immerse yourself and do whatever you want. Also it was good training for before I had online.

The thing is with HvsV, it's either really fun or really frustrating. There's no middle ground with this mode. Even if you get paired with other players who stick together, if two of your team die it leaves the remaining two for dead. The two survivors usually run in different directions to escape and the enemy chases and slaughters one of them. You now have your entire team split up, so it takes some serious co-ordination to get everyone back together again. In the meantime, the enemy team is just picking people off one by one. I've been on both sides many times.
To be honest the arcade mode will forever have a place in my heart because I have friends who come over to my house often and we always play arcade together since it’s the only thing we can play
I would have loved a game mode that combines some game modes together, like on the death star you would have the GA map, trying to escape before it blows up, star fighter assault, where your try to eliminate as many empire star fighters, and maybe a small H v V map on the Death Star, where it would be Luke vs Vader, then if Luke wins, palpatine next. I think these should bind together so maybe if the ground troops finish the first objective quick, there would be more rebels in the sky, or something. Just an idea, even though it won’t be in it, but we can imagine...
If EA released a stand-alone Ewok Hunt game, add 4-5 more planets, unique map locations, unique trooper/hunter classes, more objectives, more doohickeys and thingabobs... for 10-15 bucks I bet it would be a wildly fun and popular survival shooter/horror Ewok Hunt's atmosphere is so outstanding it's capable of something more for sure
I play arcade to test out any new content before I hop into the game. I also use it to get equated with heros/reinforcements that I’m trying to get into so I can learn their move-set
Biggest thing this game is missing is a classic battlefront 2 style gamemode. I know og's remember flying your starfighter and destroying the enemy ship enough to then lead a ground assault into the main hanger taking out the ship from the inside. I was really sad when all you can do in space is fly around and not get the opportunity to take the fight to the enemy ship.
When I heard they were making a battlefield I got happy. But I was disappointed because I wanted the game mode that was back in the OG battlefront. Where you would be two teams but have unique weapons to the teams that don’t appear on others like the rebellion against the snow beasts. And ewoks vs the troopers that had a base in the jungle and the Ewoks could heal and arm traps and the troopers had their vehicles and class types.
Ewok hunt is really fun, my first time playing it it was like a horror game. Suddenly I’m seeing my teammates getting killed and every once and awhile seeing a small Ewok come charging at me.
Cool special supremacy idea: Take on endorphins, and if the rebels win,they go up to the death star II. Cool GA idea: On the death star II, the syrfighters also have an objective where they have to enter and destroy the core.
What makes me sad is Ewok hunt is amazing and I play it all the time but 1 problem is that it is waaaay too easy for the Ewoks I’ve played maybe 20 30 games and seen the stormtroopers win once
I don’t know why Arcade and Instant Action are two different modes, they should be the same mode. I also wish gamemodes like Hunt (not just Ewok Hunt), classic space battles (Assault), Conquest (like supremacy without the Capitol phase), and Galactic Conquest, would come to the game.
By far I play Co-Op Battles the most. I enjoy the base trooper and re-inforcement classes as much as the heroes/villains, and this is a great mix. With only 3 other players you can get the hero/villain you like most of the time, and when you can't you get a ton of other options. My only complaint is locking the maps to specific eras. It might not be perfect canon but it's an unnecessary restriction that means Co-Op is far more repetitious than it needs to be, and it'd be fun to use heroes and villains in new ways in new maps.
I think that with hindsight, the campaign should've involved the world between worlds to provide a canon reason for having Darth Vader fighting Anakin. That would've been cool
To me Starfighters assault is at N.1... but it laks on new contents as you said. Anyway Ben Walke said (a couple of month ago) that they don't need Criterion to create new starfighters contents.
I fully agree with EVERYTHING you said about Galactic Assault! It really bugs me that Dice isn't planning on adding maps like Ajan Kloss, Felucia, and Scariff to GA. I'm also on Aussi/NZ servers, and it is almost impossible to find a game of Galactic Assault. Seeing Galactic Assault as number one put a smile on my face. :)
And easier in general. I used to like it, but me and everyone else likes a challenge, HvV is like soo easy because that's the mode all the christmas noobs plays
To me, the biggest thing that holds back hero showdown is that there is only 5 saber heroes for each side. This means that at some point, someone has to play a blaster hero (or Sheev). I love lightsaber duels, and 1v1 vs a non-saber hero is usually more tedious than fun.

I would absolutely love to see a game mode which was basically hvv ffa, but the catch is you can fight your own team. This would bring so many opportunities such as recreating the Anakin obi wan fight, this would just be so fun in my opinion.
Okay so either I suck at Co-Op, or that game mode is INCREDIBLY HARD. Defending is completely impossible. Just leave the match. But even attacking is too difficult unless your team is top tier. Your team AI sucks, and there’s not a lot of them. Your enemy AI is downright terrifying. It has it’s great moments but if you’re running with less than B+ teammates you’re fucked
I completely agree with supremacy, especially given the state of the game now. I have had really fun matches with supremacy but I've noticed those are usually the matches that don't go on for an hour and a half and also don't take place during any era other than OG (I noticed that, given the lack of heroes, OG era has less bullshit on both sides to deal with). GA has none of those issues and has much more engaging gameplay for people who like to both TDM and focus objectives
I hear you on the heros vs villains mode. All these guys suck online, all these run off by themselves. Spam their powers which is always obvious and get wrecked by themselves. I always gotta pick up slack. I'm losing games with 15 eliminations and 2 deaths which is crazy
As an offline player for this game, I can safely say that the content we ended up getting was insane. I get that for online players it doesn't really cater towards them much, but it still is amazing and will be all that's left of the game once the servers die out.
The problem you have is that they can only work on so many things at a time, if they stopped working on supremacy for OT to make galactic assault maps, people would be complaining how they don’t care about OT. I’m sure in the future they’ll support it after they’ve figured everything out with supremacy and coop
I actually played arcade all the time when I first downloaded battlefront 2, but then I switched to co-op, and I've played it the majority of the time. The only times I play arcade is when I want to test something, or when I get bored of online gameplay. But it only happens about 1-5 times a month so it's EXTREMELY rare times when I play battlefront 2
I hate when in heroes vs villains there are some people that for an example, you try to exit out of spawn, your team is at the other side, you exit out and then the whole enemy team kills you
Arcade and instant action tend to be my go to modes, mostly because my internet is not the best to be honest. But I need to say... Onslaught.. with heavy troop numbers is an amazingly fun challange to play. Its also semi therapeutic hacking up enemies in huge droves as Darth Maul or Darth Vader. But trying to take on an army as a regular soldier is also a crazy fun challange ^_^ I just wish I could Pick a mode, pick a map, then pick the armies. Because I still want that Clones Vs Storm troopers battle!
I play only Coop. Playing vs players who're literally 400+ level on Palp/Kylo or w/e is soul destroying. Watching them single handedly farm a 40 man team of new players. Coop is super enjoyable and chill though.
I only used to play galactic assault when it came out, it was so fun I didn't even wanna try other modes, only like a year later I tried HvV and Starfighter Assaults. It's still the only game mode I go to, for online playing, really annoyied me they sent it to a sub menu, this should be the top mode in the main screen
They should make a ‘hunt’ playlist. Like maybe Wampa hunt, order 66, and, of course, Ewok hunt.

If EA released a stand-alone Ewok Hunt game, add 4-5 more planets, unique map locations, unique trooper/hunter classes, more objectives, more doohickeys and thingabobs... for 10-15 bucks I bet it would be a wildly fun and popular survival shooter/horror
Ewok Hunt's atmosphere is so outstanding it's capable of something more for sure

I play arcade to test out any new content before I hop into the game. I also use it to get equated with heros/reinforcements that I’m trying to get into so I can learn their move-set
My favourite mode is Instant Action! I love the AI, the updates...is the best mode!
Biggest thing this game is missing is a classic battlefront 2 style gamemode. I know og's remember flying your starfighter and destroying the enemy ship enough to then lead a ground assault into the main hanger taking out the ship from the inside. I was really sad when all you can do in space is fly around and not get the opportunity to take the fight to the enemy ship.

I think ewok hunt is seriously underrated because it becomes incredibly fun when you get some friends to play.
Yeah it's a great mode it would be my favorite but I suck as an ewok
When I heard they were making a battlefield I got happy. But I was disappointed because I wanted the game mode that was back in the OG battlefront. Where you would be two teams but have unique weapons to the teams that don’t appear on others like the rebellion against the snow beasts. And ewoks vs the troopers that had a base in the jungle and the Ewoks could heal and arm traps and the troopers had their vehicles and class types.
Ewok hunt is really fun, my first time playing it it was like a horror game. Suddenly I’m seeing my teammates getting killed and every once and awhile seeing a small Ewok come charging at me.
Cool special supremacy idea: Take on endorphins, and if the rebels win,they go up to the death star II.
Cool GA idea: On the death star II, the syrfighters also have an objective where they have to enter and destroy the core.
What makes me sad is Ewok hunt is amazing and I play it all the time but 1 problem is that it is waaaay too easy for the Ewoks I’ve played maybe 20 30 games and seen the stormtroopers win once

I don’t know why Arcade and Instant Action are two different modes, they should be the same mode.
I also wish gamemodes like Hunt (not just Ewok Hunt), classic space battles (Assault), Conquest (like supremacy without the Capitol phase), and Galactic Conquest, would come to the game.
Well, one of them does have splitscreen support. The other does not.
My son loves instant action and Co-op. At least there is no hackers which on PC can make the other modes unplayable.

The fact that Felucia and Scarif doesn't have Galactic Assault is straight up a crime
On the Ps4, I really don't have that hard of a time finding extraction games. It might take a few minutes, but that is it.
I hope strike gets more maps and objective variations. There are like 5 more maps they could add.
Once I joined a Supremacy match alredy started where there was people with 150+ eliminations. Two hours later I was still playing the same game.

By far I play Co-Op Battles the most. I enjoy the base trooper and re-inforcement classes as much as the heroes/villains, and this is a great mix. With only 3 other players you can get the hero/villain you like most of the time, and when you can't you get a ton of other options. My only complaint is locking the maps to specific eras. It might not be perfect canon but it's an unnecessary restriction that means Co-Op is far more repetitious than it needs to be, and it'd be fun to use heroes and villains in new ways in new maps.
I think that with hindsight, the campaign should've involved the world between worlds to provide a canon reason for having Darth Vader fighting Anakin. That would've been cool

To me Starfighters assault is at N.1... but it laks on new contents as you said. Anyway Ben Walke said (a couple of month ago) that they don't need Criterion to create new starfighters contents.

I fully agree with EVERYTHING you said about Galactic Assault! It really bugs me that Dice isn't planning on adding maps like Ajan Kloss, Felucia, and Scariff to GA.
I'm also on Aussi/NZ servers, and it is almost impossible to find a game of Galactic Assault.
Seeing Galactic Assault as number one put a smile on my face. :)

To me, the biggest thing that holds back hero showdown is that there is only 5 saber heroes for each side. This means that at some point, someone has to play a blaster hero (or Sheev). I love lightsaber duels, and 1v1 vs a non-saber hero is usually more tedious than fun.

I would absolutely love to see a game mode which was basically hvv ffa, but the catch is you can fight your own team. This would bring so many opportunities such as recreating the Anakin obi wan fight, this would just be so fun in my opinion.
Okay so either I suck at Co-Op, or that game mode is INCREDIBLY HARD. Defending is completely impossible. Just leave the match. But even attacking is too difficult unless your team is top tier. Your team AI sucks, and there’s not a lot of them. Your enemy AI is downright terrifying. It has it’s great moments but if you’re running with less than B+ teammates you’re fucked
I completely agree with supremacy, especially given the state of the game now. I have had really fun matches with supremacy but I've noticed those are usually the matches that don't go on for an hour and a half and also don't take place during any era other than OG (I noticed that, given the lack of heroes, OG era has less bullshit on both sides to deal with). GA has none of those issues and has much more engaging gameplay for people who like to both TDM and focus objectives

I hear you on the heros vs villains mode. All these guys suck online, all these run off by themselves. Spam their powers which is always obvious and get wrecked by themselves. I always gotta pick up slack. I'm losing games with 15 eliminations and 2 deaths which is crazy
As an offline player for this game, I can safely say that the content we ended up getting was insane. I get that for online players it doesn't really cater towards them much, but it still is amazing and will be all that's left of the game once the servers die out.
The problem you have is that they can only work on so many things at a time, if they stopped working on supremacy for OT to make galactic assault maps, people would be complaining how they don’t care about OT. I’m sure in the future they’ll support it after they’ve figured everything out with supremacy and coop

It would be kind of cool to have a game mode geared towards the Specialist class. Or someway for snipers to help with the objective.
I actually played arcade all the time when I first downloaded battlefront 2, but then I switched to co-op, and I've played it the majority of the time. The only times I play arcade is when I want to test something, or when I get bored of online gameplay. But it only happens about 1-5 times a month so it's EXTREMELY rare times when I play battlefront 2

I hate when in heroes vs villains there are some people that for an example, you try to exit out of spawn, your team is at the other side, you exit out and then the whole enemy team kills you
Arcade and instant action tend to be my go to modes, mostly because my internet is not the best to be honest.
But I need to say... Onslaught.. with heavy troop numbers is an amazingly fun challange to play. Its also semi therapeutic hacking up enemies in huge droves as Darth Maul or Darth Vader. But trying to take on an army as a regular soldier is also a crazy fun challange ^_^
I just wish I could Pick a mode, pick a map, then pick the armies. Because I still want that Clones Vs Storm troopers battle!
I play only Coop. Playing vs players who're literally 400+ level on Palp/Kylo or w/e is soul destroying. Watching them single handedly farm a 40 man team of new players. Coop is super enjoyable and chill though.
It's a good thing in offline Instant Action Supremacy you can shorten the length of the matches.
I only used to play galactic assault when it came out, it was so fun I didn't even wanna try other modes, only like a year later I tried HvV and Starfighter Assaults. It's still the only game mode I go to, for online playing, really annoyied me they sent it to a sub menu, this should be the top mode in the main screen
