Mate the river, the scenery, those fish, wow. What i wouldn't give to fish some of those N.Z rivers, just absolutely magic.

Where you seeing the browns in Colorado? New to fly fishing.
Do you live in CO? There are very large Browns south west of Colorado Springs and in the mountains west of denver. There are lots of big fish in Wyoming as well
I’ve got some spots that are fantastic, but can’t give them up on CZcams 😎

Nice. Shows the highs, lows and hardships that all combine to show what a day of fly fishing is all about.
I know that river. I have been there twice and that clear water, cute bridges and monster trout are unforgettable. I saw a few fish that looked to be between 15 & 20lb. But only managed to catch smaller models of around 3 to 5lb. Thanks for sharing. It brought back some great memories.
All I can say is WOW!! Awesome fish, amazing river!! Here in the Northeast USA, our Browns would never bite when the water is so clear. Great job landing those BEASTS and thanks for the video!!

Great video!!! Laughing with you when you followed that fish downstream. I thought well he posted this video so he must survive!! Speaking of Browns,I caught a 10lb Scottish brown trout at the weekend. Ripped me to my backing twice.

So to be honest I think this is the first video I’ve watched in a while that has had actual struggle to catch a fish! Didn’t cut out the work to get the fish like other people do. Awesome vid man, wish I could make it out there for a guided fishing trip.

Nice vid! I'm a trout/salmon guide/bum from Michigan, USA (Great Lakes etc.). We have epic fly-fishing for trout, steelhead and salmon in our river systems. Different scenery than your's but very similar otherwise... Cracking up at the "colorful" language, which is exactly what you'd hear here in Michigan. You sound as if you've spent time here, based on your very proper cursing techniques. Tight lines dude! Keep your hat dry!
