  • I speak about how to export Unreal Engine into After Effects so that you can take your Unreal Engine project and composite or use better tools inside of After Effects. By being able to take Unreal Engine into After Effects it can give you more control when finalizing your project.

    thank you for the tutorial. re your speed issue in after effects - you rendered the seq from ue at 60fps. in the video it shows your ae comp is 30fps, I suspect it loaded the img seq at 30 fps not 60 fps, so its playing at half speed. in the project window you can right click interpret footage and set the playback to 60fps. in after effects-preferences - import ---- you can change the default frame rate img seq are imported.
    i would also suggest changing the name of your clips in the comps, if you change the names in the project window and clips go offline, it can be more difficult to know what file you are looking for since the ae file name is diff from what it is linking to.

    • @WeShootFilms
      @WeShootFilms  Před 4 měsíci

      You must mean Davinci resolve because in after effects I render out 60fps and in Davinci I change the speed to 60fps because my timeline is at 24fps. I def appreciate your advise and appreciate your support.

      @@WeShootFilms you exported from unreal engine img seq at 60 fps that you brought into ae timeline that was 30fps. that you put a speed change on them to correct playback - was talking about those.

    You don’t need to delete assets etc. You can use layers to separate assets and then render passes there are lot of tutorials about it.
    Btw it would be great if you make tutorial how you match lights in greenscreen and shot

    • @WeShootFilms
      @WeShootFilms  Před 6 měsíci

      Yes, I know you can separate each asset that’s the point I didn’t want to separate each asset. I just wanted to get rid of it all without doing all the separation work but thank you. I appreciate your comment and as far as the tutorial for green screen lighting. I’ll definitely do something.
