You can tell they have done a ton of these.. (know exactly how to take apart, rebuild, re assemble.) The paint really brings the cycle to life.. FANTASTIC JOB! thanks for posting.
You guy's are INCREDIBLE.!. How you know where everything goes to put this bike back together is beyond me..!! I know i speak for a lot of others when i say, i would love for you to say how much all the replacement parts cost. Not only that, but how and where you were able to source all the new parts for this old Honda, given the fact that it's an early eighties bike..?? John, Western Australia.
in sri lanka people still import a lot of reconditioned old 70s-90s JDM bike parts from parted out bikes in japan, back in the day there used be hundreds of thousands of these(CB,CG,CM.CD) bikes on the road so there's still a decent supply of vintage honda parts for low displacement bikes available here, and some replacement parts like handle bars, exhaust pipes are reproduced here as well.
Bravo Bravo! The filming, the pacing and the skill of these guys are spot on for me. Do you know how many times I've wanted to hop on of those bikes once you're finished? Keep goin!!
You guys are awesome ,dressed in your Sunday casuals you tackle a restoration on this motorcycle like its a every day no problems , I take my hat of for you guys 👏👏👏
Cómo siempre sorprendiendo con excelentes restauraciones, las motos que han restaurado salen como nuevas, excelente video felicitaciones un gran saludo desde COLOMBIA!!!!!!
Wow a total transformation, like show room again, great work and up load. Have to say that the roads you drove on are in way better condition than from where im from,England....pot hole central!!!. Keep up the good work and ride safe all 😉
When sandblasting you should really tape over the holes in your fuel tank, that way there is no contaminants in your tank to get stuck or to go into the carb, or engine.
Another fantastic transformation, It's a shame as bikes got newer they lost their chrome, you can hear the clicking of the plastic on reassembly but it's still a brilliant transformation. Sometimes it's good to be creative with the colour scheme depending on what the customer wants but I suppose keeping it original helps with sales. I admire your work, great team effort and immense skills. 🙏
I can't imagine spending my time restoring a 125 cc bike unless it was historically significant or 100 years old...my 1300 cc Harley has been in the garage 15 years waiting for its restoration....
everyone value things differently, a camry in Australia is trash and abused, in south east asia, its a luxury car and treated as such, some would trade a mercedies for a honda cub.
Excellent work, Babu. Had one just like this. Got run over by a truck after it had been stolen. With the thief on it. Neither of them made it. I miss that bike.
I have 2 things to say here: Why did these cb125 twins never come to America? And to see this level of expertise done on pallets in the jungle is just incredible👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The only time the 125 twin was in America was 1990 and Honda of America donated 2000 of them to Rider safety courses to be used as training bikes they were supposed to be destroyed afterwards and never titled. I live in California and I just finished my restoration on one of them that was not destroyed and I got it registered through Vermont to get a title. If you want to see progress and updates on it you can follow me on Instagram @TheSlowFastCrew
Bc these types of bike are only for the asian market: few factors, first the build quality, second due to the lack of quality the reduced price. For american amd european markets the standards are much higher. Long story short: the crap bikes you don't want to ride, believe me.
@@7b0ne not really quality issues at all, the US market has never been big on small displacement bikes. The road systems here in the US are way larger and have higher speed limits. Smaller CC bikes where typically reserved here for in town commutes to and from work etc and they never sold well to begin with. Probably why they never sold the 125CC twin here in the US.
@@RetroMotiveAdventures makes sense for US. I only noticed that KTM now builds bikes in India, for export only. They are only for foreign market but for any asians..yes considering the technical aspects with some asian road (bad as they are) these export bikes are not capable for the holes haha. But anyway, these bikes as such in sri lanka and india..could run on eurpean roads..(much narrower than us roads) but due to quality they will never be available. Edit: but maybe also due to no interest in these bikes..we have Puch Maxi and Vespa and regular scooters, apart of that some 125cc (dunno what brands), mostly KTMs etc and bigger cc

Same for painting, although given this is a two-stroke Honda motor, it might run better with the contaminants.

The blue paint on the shock coil springs looks so sharp.
