This whole situation has been blown way out of proportion. I understand that Adam did something wrong and deserves some backlash but there's no reason to harass his friends. They are not responsible for his personal opinions. Sam said he had to turn off the comments on IG and delete his X account because this situation started affecting his mental health. And the worst part is that some of those people find it funny like it's some kind of a game. I've seen comments saying this will go on until Adam gets kicked out of the band, so aparently an official statement wouldn't solve the issue. Instead of unfollowing the band and forgetting about it's existence people chose to stay just to harass them, hate on every song they release and make their fans upset. It's just sad.
Sam gave that "issue" the right amount of attention it needed. You said yourself "people outside of Twitter aren't talking about it"... cause people outside of that platform do have an actual life. The 0,01% should try to fucking pick themselves up and lear to live.

People don’t just simply ask them about the incident. They send hate and death threats. Do you think the entire band would delete their socials just because they were being asked questions on the matter? No. People are very toxic on the internet. But I’m sure you are aware of that..
Are they though? Because the only death threats I’ve heard of to them was over the fact the last two albums haven’t been heavy and people think Tom would be rolling in his grave over the synths.
@@Trhxz they received threats from something as simple as changing their music style. You think they’re not receiving any from this situation? You come to your own conclusion. They’re not going to announce to the world every time they receive a threat. So no you won’t hear about it
@@gerrylarry5171They kind of did announce to the world about their death threats. Sam mentioned it in several interviews and it was a main theme in Seeing Red. I’m sorry, but if there’s this wave of people sending death threats over the trans tweet, then they’re doing it pretty invisibly, but open enough for everyone here to know about it bar me. That’s the conclusion I’m drawing.

Being a Transgirl myself, i feel like everyone is going way overboard. They apologized, and even then. People are allowed to have a different opinion. Which ofcourse people such as yourself are allowed to have too about the band. But the death threats they've been getting, the constant harassment aswell, it's not a good look.

I'm sorry, I respect your opinion on the matter. I'm too unsure of Adam's actual points of view on the trans community and the LGBT community to actually give him any hate on the matter. But this reaction was just a hate watch experience for you. When your band (the ones who didn't do anything wrong in this situation btw) are getting sent constant death threats and hate, I would totally not say anything because people who act like that are not worth the engagement or time, it's completely fucked to say the least.
I also believe Architects will release a statement at some point, but it's gonna be hard when you have people constantly harassing them hurling death threats at them to encourage any kind of understanding or engagement towards that statement
Trust me, I want to be more educated on these things in time, because I try to respect everyone that actually deserves it and I have many friends in that community, but their song doesn't deserve flack unless you're actually giving a genuine review on the music aspect, not pushing your political points of view on a song that has nothing to do with that. Sam said WAY more than that. You’re down playing his statement because people WANT to stay mad. Nothing will be good enough unless Adam is kicked out and that’s hella lame. Because of their consistent message Architects gets the benefit of the doubt for me.

@@Jmack7861 He didn't say anything, he only retweeted a video and liked some posts where some transphobic things were said. I don't think I can link but it is on twitter if you search. Architects apologized on stage but never on socials and have continued deleting comments and blocking people (from what I've seen). I wouldn't expect a statement from them since there's no gain.

Tom was fantastic, but he was also one member. Not the whole band. I feel as if this video wasn’t a review. It was a way for you to manipulate people into hating this band haha. You ranted about it before the video, then complained about it after the video. This is your channel, I appreciate others opinions, but when I feel that I see a facade, I gotta call it out lol. You claim they are ruining Tom’s legacy, yet literally put click bait as your title. Is that the “legacy” you want? To be remembered as the guy that got views from blowing smoke?
Maybe next time record a video one day after your annual shower, not right before.

Genuinely not trying to be rude and really interested in your thoughts, what would you want them to do to correct this? if u don’t believe him when he said the retweet was an accident and it’s not enough for them to bring it up at a gig, what should they do? Would you believe them if they apologised? Maybe not, and that’s up to you but think we all benefit from giving people the benefit of the doubt. Architects seem like well intentioned people with a history of progressive and inclusive views. With peace and love Feels bad faith on your part to tarnish a band and their motives based on what could be an accidental tweet and on who they follow on x. I can't speak for others, but I don't necessarily want a correction, just a statement. Just a message not announced only to a room of people that was up to the crowd to upload. Just say something publicly as a band that has always been political in a positive manner. But instead they are not only ignoring it but actively blocking people that are just asking about it.

Architects have been pretty solid and consistent politically/ideologically, so this apology seems honest and legit to me, and Adam can personally be an idiot and believe what he wants since the band stands for other things as a collective and their output and stances have been rather clear. They're not to blame for his stances and whatever internet brainrot he's on now, and kicking him out of the band would be excessive (and not help him reflect on his views whatsoever, but that's the trend we've been seeing).
