Thanks for showing an actual session in progress, even though I could see that it was more work for you as you maintained the kids' privacy :)
I'm really excited to learn more about work as an SLP and maybe get some work experience soon!

Thank you so much for uploading these videos!! :D I'm super new to the domain of SLP, and it's really helpful and neat getting to see what it's actually like working in this field. I have a bachelor's in psychology that I received a couple years ago, but I wasn't confident in my career direction post-college, so I settled for a basic customer service job that's starting to feel unfulfilling. I'm thinking of going back to school and making use of my degree (I'm hoping that it isn't too late to immediately apply for a graduate program, even though it's been a couple years since I've graduated..).
Like other comments have asked, I'm curious about your personal experience on the licensing-side of becoming an SLP. But also, were there any other fields of therapy you were considering before speech, and what would you say are unique challenges an SLP deals with? Have you ever had to deal with "unsatisfied" clients who get frustrated with progress being too slow or anything?
And, do you always end up taking your work home with you?
Looking forward to your future videos, and I hope things haven't been too stressful for you!

Thank you for this video! Do you keep track of data on a spreadsheet? I'm going to be doing teletherapy this school year. Im nervous about it being engaging. You just share your screen with the student's? There's no way for the students to have control, right?

Hey! I’ll be starting a teletherapy position for an elementary school in a couple weeks and I’ve never worked in a school before. How do you do/manage group teletherapy? Most of my caseload will be groups. What do the kids do when it’s not their turn? Do you do one activity that works for all the kids in the group?! It’s hard for me to envision group therapy virtually 😅
