I agree. Eurovision wants to celebrate our diversity but most of countries choose English to express themselves. It would be better to enjoy European richness of languages
We have Sanremo to thank for that ^^ All entries must be in Italian :3 (and then you got Måneskin's interval act breaking the rule by singing in English except for maybe 2 likes of Zitti e Buoni 😭)
This is not their entry this year (Due vite), it's a single of his from 2021.
We’re technically forced in our Sanremo festival to bring exclusively italian language songs, hence this particularity.
He can sing any kind of music from pop to jazz, rap to soul, rock to indie. Amazing
And he can hit very high notes too.

@@sofypi7493 Italians are better... They sing songs in own style and language, With pride... And high quality too. Sweden sing in Usa and England style and language, Italy has a different and personal style to make music!
If I hear anyone complaining that we don't have good pop music anymore, I point them in the direction of Italian pop. Just what happens if talented singers and talented songwriters come together with passion for music and don't cut corners.
I love the language and I enjoy Italian pics for Eurovision. It’s quality music.
Originally this song is a feat. with Madame but honestly I think it sounds better with only Mengoni in it.
He did the same at Sanremo 2022 and it sounds WAY better.

IMHO, it's not only because of Mengoni singing the whole song (Madame's part is very good indeed). I believe it sounds better because there is an actual band playing with real instruments and a restrained use of programming and digital effects!
