- The foreign secretary, David Cameron, said the UK could loan Russian central bank assets in the UK to Ukraine, which it could recuperate from Russian reparations paid to Kyiv after the war.

Lord Cameron told the House of Lords on Tuesday: 'There is an opportunity to use something like a syndicated loan or a bond that effectively uses the frozen Russian assets as a surety to give that money to the Ukrainians, knowing that we will recoup it when reparations are paid by Russia.' He added that the government was aiming for maximum 'G7 and EU unity' on the proposal, but the UK would be ready to 'move ahead with allies that want to take this action'.

All legal experts agreet that this would be illegal and has no basis in law. Although the UK has no interest in international law, most other European countries have quietly dropped this idea. This is just absurd posturing.

This is absolutely Russian Federation wealth that is liable to be confiscated to assist any defence of rules based, internationally recognized sovereign territory that the Russian Federation has chosen to militarily attack, and invade for the obvious reason of stealing, annexing this foreign, sovereign territory to be absorbed into the Russian Federation.

Oh so breaking International Banking Rules that have stood for Decades up on Decades is a Gesture. Which could cause widespread selling of Western Countries Bonds held all over the World because of Distrust in Western Countries. That would create a Crash in Western Currencies and risks Banks Failing as there Bonds become Worthless
