so I've been watching bangers for about a year now and I can't work out the classes... from what I can tell 2 classes? micro's and 1600cc+ ??? Or is it decided on the day depending how many different cc rating cars turn up

Classes
Micro : Small cars mainly Micras & KA's around 1200cc
1500cc : cars up to and including 1500cc
1600cc : cars up to and including 1600cc
1800cc : cars up to and including 1800cc
2 Litre : Cars between 1800cc & 2000cc
Unlimited : Cars rear wheel drive over 3 litres (naturally aspirated)
Vans : any vans except V6 & V8 Manuals

This isn’t proper banger racing, people go to see crashes!!
and exactly the reason the crowds dwindled away causing arena to close
