Everytime your German UI shows up it's a reminder that your English is amazing!
Thanks! But I grew up in the states, so not really my own effort 😅
Hey, love seeing this technique being applied and refined for fantasy content like this. Keep up the great work!
I'm liking your voice man. It's very soothing.
Thanks!
Maybe this is too serious of a comment but I really do appreciate your tutorials, I love watching each of them and get so excited when i see a new one drop. You are such a nice teacher, keep it up!
Thanks so much! What a nice thing to comment, I appreciate it.
Thank you, it works perfect!
Excellent, thanks!
Could you please do a book cover or movie poster next?
Sure thing! That's on my list :D
@@albertbozesan looking forward to it!
This was so helpful!! Thank you
Works good, tnx
Very informative, great video.
This was definitely a fun idea, thanks
Very cool, thanks for sharing
Brilliant 😊
02:37 Small but important correction, the AI does not search a database, there isn't a database, it works based on math, it is calculating patterns that score well for the words/phrases used
Yeah, that would of course be a massive database :)
Thanks for Bob Rossing this up for us, V helpful
What a big compliment! Thank you.
Awesome
To retrieve the full text promt (and other generation parameters) from the final png file you can use the "PNG Info" tab in the UI or a "TweakPNG" standalone util. Just be sure that the "Save text information ... as chunks to png files" option is enabled in the "Settings" UI's tab.
I'd love to see a similar video for a video game world map! Kind of like Super Mario World style
for this kind of work, Krita is my go to mainly because of the plugin auto-sd-krita. Rather than using the webui and copy pasting, you can just select an aera, a layer with the render and a transparency mask will be made.
Yo, man maybe i am late, but the video is godly. Love to watch how you make actually good stuff with ai. Wish you will get more popular!
Thank you so much!
Another super AI tutorial! I was able to create beautiful icons with Stable Diffusion, but only fantastic wrappers (which encloses the text inside). Will there be a way to tell the AI to apply the same effect to different images? (those that contain the icon text). Since the icon wrapper is only one (and reused for icons such as "Fuel," "Stamina," etc. ) the wrapper is great, but the text of the icons, while awesome, is inconsistent with each other. :(
Could you go over how to change training models and why/if, you may want to do that? I'm loving the variety of videos. Keep up, the good work!
Thanks! I’m trying to figure that out right now, super exciting.
Great video! I also liked your videos on game asset creation.
Have you ever tried to create single elements/props for top down maps? Like trees, rocks, plants, tables, chairs and so on to be used in something like Dungeondraft to create table top RPG maps with?
Thanks! I'm sure that's possible. Will look into it!
I would have changed the boat in the bottom of the main island to a ship wreck and the big black rock to look more like a skull rock. Maybe add a kraken/see monster in one of the ocean area.
45:40 That was a bit freaky to hear, as I did exactly that for my kids birthday party a week ago! I drew the map by hand and then enhanced it to make it cooler with stable diffusion.
We even had some burried treasure they had to find with the map and dig up. The map was very basic compared to this one, but it was still loads of fun :)
Even though this video wasn't out yet, your previous video's were still the foundation i build upon to make the map. Thanks a bunch for your excellent tutorials, you indirectly made my kid's birthday party cooler :)
Ha! That’s awesome :) sounds like a great party
This is what I am trying to do but can't figure out how to with Stable Diffusion staying truthful to the map I drew. Any tips?
You're giving off a very chill Bob Ross vibe in this video and I'm here for it.
Big compliment! Thanks a lot :)
I love your videos very much! highly apriciated! Can you please make a video on making game models arts based on pixelated old school sprites(not like 8 bit, but you get it). Because recently I've seen a picture of such job done in Stable Diffusion. It is spread over the internet and is very-very fascinating! Keep it up😄
Glad you liked the video! I made a Pixel Art Video already, do you mean something like that? czcams.com/video/UvJkQPtr-8s/video.html
@@albertbozesan I've seen it, it's good but not what I meant. I checked it one more time, it was "User from reddit improved Fallout 2 models using Stable Diffusion"
@@vidosodel5075 ah I understand now! I’ll put it on my list of vid ideas, thanks :)
@@albertbozesan thank YOU! 😁
Great technique. ty
I couldn't do it that way, because would be getting furious because of all the composition problems. The two boards on top are in very different style, rocks hitting borders, it would take me more time that you did to solve all that. Still, you map looks nice. For any audience, the perfectionism problems I see do not exist.
Haha you’re totally right. If this were a client project rather than a tut, I would spend more time on polish for sure!!
I'd really like to have a worflow as nice as this, but SD and photoshop both want the GPU :/
Really nice vid !
Maybe you can use an online service to edit the pics? I’ve heard of photopea.
@@albertbozesan Thanks ! That's what I ended up doing in the end, and it's quite extraordinary actually !
I thought I would be downgrading but for now I was wrong, it has most of the tooling even the nifty selection ones !
Hey, wanted to know how you get a preview of your stable diffusion renders to appear when you hit generate, cheers
I only recently found that feature, it’s great! Look for it in the settings tab of the Automatic1111 WebUI, it’s on the right side for me. You can change after how many steps it updates.
@@albertbozesan Appreciate your response as well as the in depth tutorials, very useful for learning this new technology 🤠
Did you post some similar Prompts to this somewhere recently, maybe on reddit or in a comment or description on CZcams? I went to steal your prompt from this video and noticed my Prompts file already had something with enough similarities that it might be yours:
Full-color illustrated whimsical fantasy ((map)) of a wooded forest and trees, rocks and paths, parchment, cartography, detailed, crosshatch. Negative: photograph, words, text, frame, America, Europe, Asia, Africa, continents, Australia, world.
Yep, that’s my prompt, too. I posted it a few days ago on Reddit in r/sdforall when I was prepping this video. 😄
@@albertbozesan aha, thanks! The similarity was gonna keep bothering me if I didn't confirm it :)
Are there updated AI tools to use for custom mapping that are not stable diffusion?
I don’t think so, because Stable Diffusion is the only AI available to small startups and creators who can’t train their own model from scratch (multiple 100k $).
If I would like a battlemap, like the one divided by squares 40x40? I tryed "fantasy battlemap labirinth square 40x40" but I didn't got a labirinth battlemap with 40x40 squares to move..
I have this on my list of video ideas. I think you’d have to add the squares later, SD isn’t great at straight lines on things.
@@albertbozesan Is there an AI you can suggest me for this purpose?
@@feelese for the squares? Not an AI, just Affinity, Photoshop, GIMP. Nothing smarter than that is necessary, takes two seconds 😄
I keep getting Lorem ipsum text all over the map, any way to keep that from occurring?
What a funky error. Does your version of stable support negative prompts?
If you're on a newer Mac, you can grab arm64 build here with m1/m2 support:
diffusionbee.com/
All good and well as usual, but wheres the video for 3d game assets?
Proving quite difficult! I haven't gotten satisfactory results beyond a crate.
@@albertbozesan damn. Thanks for trying anyways :)
what model did you use for this
Pretty sure this video was before custom models were a widespread thing. I think it was the standard 1.4 model.
@@albertbozesan Ohh okay 👍:)
