Das Kombinat VEB Electrogeratewerk Suhl DDR.. We have mixer RG 25 From 1974 and is still working... Grandma have her RG 28s since 1982 in Orange color and is still working!!!:) Great machines from East Germany

There was RG 3 RG 5 and Komet RG 25 as following RG 28e and RG 28s RG polifix was the last of the generation DDR mixergerat from AKA Elektrik

Diesen habe ich sehr gerne und oft benutzt .Leiter defekt und zu schnell weggeschmissen.🤣würde ich sofort wieder kaufen.macht mir Angebot wo es sie noch gibt. Die neuen Maschinen kommen da nicht mit.
meine mutter hat auch ihren weggeschmissen. hat gesagt das das reparieren teurer als einen neuen kaufen wäre. hat mir nix gesagt, am sonsten würde ich den reparieren lassen.
Bei eBay bekommt man diese alten Rührgeräte zu kaufen. Ich hab mir vorhin einen bestellt. 😃☝️

We have the stand and the bowl as well. Didn’t know it was from the GDR. Ours must be for at least from the 1970s. My mother was probably given it. She was always being given things and never refused to take them. Were they in general sale in the Uk in the 70s? We’re from Liverpool so maybe it was some traveller behind the iron curtain who brought it back in the old days.

Is the mixer similar to the orange-y coloured mixer that's in the DDR Museum? Anyone been there as well? I'm afraid I have no reference point with these GDR mixers, but was fascinated with the gadgets on display at that museum!
I did not know that there is such a museum
For non-German visitors (like me!) to Berlin, the museum offered a glimpse into what life might have been like behind the wall. The moment I saw your mixer, I thought "Ah ha, where have I seen such a mixer before??". BTW, the location of the museum is next to the Radisson Blu Hotel, which has the beautiful aquarium lobby lift.

PPS: Love all the gadgets on your site!! A happy walk down memory lane, can almost smell the arcing and grease that these little appliances make - the aromas imprinted in your childhood are quite unforgettable.
We've got one of these, but the wire beater has just snapped. Struggling to find a replacement in the UK. Will be sad to see it go in the bin if I cant find a new beater.

Was soll uns dieses Video mitteilen? Du musst echt viel lange Weile haben.😂 Ist auch echt nicht so einfach, die Stäbe in die richtige Hohlwelle zu stecken.
