This worked like a charm on my Craftsman yard Vac. After using it the first time and the engine would get hot it would not start back up. Was very easy to put on BUT you have to insert a business card between the coil and the flywheel to get the proper distance between the two units. After tightening make sure the paper comes out freely. I did not and the unit started but you could hear grinding, then you have to take it all apart again and do it over. Took me three tries!!! Cost around $20 on Amazon, I also replaced the carburetor since it was over 10 years old. $12 on Amazon

This fixed it for me! Mine would start fine - unless the engine was hot. If hot, it just wouldn't start. Made me not want to shut it off to empty the bag.
I bought the part you linked, spent 20 minutes installing it, and bingo now it easily starts even when hot.

My leaf Vacuum has been hard to star for years, after it was hot it would not start. I looked at your video ordered a ignition coil from ebay . I put it in starts very easy now. Thank you

    That isn’t always the cause
I have a toro mower when hot does my want to start
    Changed coil and same thing.
Could also be head gasket or valves
But yah coil is something to check also.

I put in a new ignition coil and it still doesn’t want to start when hot.

You did not test after fix when hot engine. Though I believe you because this is common. If you continue CZcams. Please give proper after fix test (:
