  • Associates of the Russian opposition leader Aleksei Navalny announced the resumption of the work of the politician's headquarters in Russia. They plan to start an active struggle against Putin’s regime, war and mobilization. The network of contacts will be created anew. According to information from open sources, more than 50 organized groups of ‘railway resistance’ have been operating in Russia since the start of a full-scale war. Hundreds of acts of sabotage take place all over the country. Our correspondent found out how the underground guerilla is gaining momentum in Russia.

      Because of the protests, Putin shut down independent media and introduced harsh prison sentences. So clearly, they were effective to an extent; they threatened Putin's grip on power.

      First you try to ask, after they ignore you than you protest peacefully and if they still ignore you only violence remains as a means to change.
      The only question is whether the thing you are fighting for is worth the violence this as it risks your own future. For Russians I imagine it is worth it.

      I am against arson and sabotage. Unfortunately, Russia is a neo-Soviet terrorist state where the people who are in charge legally are the biggest criminals in the country. These arsonists are nothing compared to a KGB agent who tries murdering his opponents with chemical weapons and sends people to prison for exposing war crimes.

      It's what being burned and sabotaged. If like shown targeted at freight trains and Government facilities and factories at night when workers not there this is legal under international law as you're not targeting civilians. Plus the evil nut jobs who target civilians normally don't win as the populace then supports the government.
      I would argue normally these behaviors also wrong in a democracy where protest is allowed and elections mostly fair as going to arson and sabotage not necessary for change and you can actually judge public supports. And when non violent resistance can work it must be tried first

    It is good that you showed the method for causing a derail- the white wire is there between the bolts and is important to electrically connect the rail so the open rail will not be detected by the system that uses electricity to signal and detect breaks in the rail.

  • @Baleur
    @Baleur Před rokem +27

    Also, great work on actually showing specifically what consequences such train derailings have.
    Most of our western media doesnt bother to reflect on what it actually means.
    But 1 single train derailed, could in 6 months, result in 50 fewer tanks or 500 fewer ground troops in a region that Ukraine tries to reconquer.
    So it can have a huge impact on the war, even just 1 man derailing a train.

    To the great people of Russia: take your country back, and never ever permit yourselves to be led by a one man government again. Let your nation's healing begin the day of true freedom.
