the moment i was driving with the windows down and listening to this video, was the moment i realized i should be more confident abt what i enjoy (pov bc i felt self conscious listening to podcasts / vids like this vs songs in the car while the other drivers pass by me and hear it )
This is really what I needed to hear. I'm going to therapy and going into the 2nd year of my career break to truly grow and connect with myself. Authenticity is a must for me but I'm always worried that I have to do things I don't want to do to please the people I care about or to assure them that I'm okay not working right now. I'm on my own content creating journey to be a twitch streamer but of course the fear of not making it is always there. But it always will be there. Your video has brought a smile on my face and a shine into my heart. Thanks for making this video and I wish you future success to you. Not related, but I'm literally in love with your walls interior. There's just something beautiful about brick walls in an interior. Watching this though, I just realized the reason I got "show up as your authentic self" wrong or "you will find your tribe/your people when you show up as you" wrong is because when I have shown up, the fear has shown up too.
It's been half year I stop being on CZcams because the fear of being suddenly hit my out of no where, I'm walking around lost, wondering what did I do wrong that I no longer feel the bravery to express my authenticity, and the feeling of people maybe hating me for some reason. Thank you for sharing. I went through a similar phase last year. Something that helps me is just going forward with action. In my experience choosing authenticity is a choice we can act on despite how we may feel. Knowing also that while some people can be judgemental, they are likely too focused on themselves to really care!! Please know that your authenticity is so beautiful and needed. Sending you love 💕
