Just a tip with the sensor: keep it installed until you remove the old charge pipe. Just disconnect the plug. Then remove the sensor away from the car so you don’t lose any screws. Plus you won’t need to reach down to install it on the new charge pipe. Also, less chance of dirt getting on the sensor while it dangles in the engine bay.

Thanks for the great video. I installed mine today due to mine blowing up. This part was on back order for over a month so I used duct tape and waited. Now I'm a happy customer. VRSF is the way to go. Thanks again.

Was doing a 3rd gear pool at 60 in Phoenix a few weeks ago, and cracked my charge pipe. Had a new VRSF one on the way, but didn't have time to put it in. Biggest mistake I've made with this car was not putting that on ASAP. Do yourself a favor, do this as soon as you get the car. Thankfully, my new car warranty (automation warranty) covered some of it, but I still have to pay $600 out of pocket.

Double check install and make sure all the sensors are installed correctly and cleaned. Did the C clamp "click" when you install them?
Check the wiring and the sensor itself for the Tmap sensor in the charge pipe. could have damaged the wiring.

@@gilgonzalez5902 Hey gil, yes it was a vrsf, ordered the charge pipe and o-ring. The ring they sent me was the wrong one, so i tried installing the pipe with the o-ring that was on the factory charge pipe , i tried for almost a hour trying to figure out why the chargepipe wouldn’t sit flush with the throttle body. the following day i went to bmw and picked up a new O-ring, after comparing the new with the original that was in my car it looks like the one in my car had expanded in size, which is why i wasn’t able to push the charge pipe into the throttle body. when i put the new o-ring it went right in the first time. So i recommend you always buy a new ring, which i did, unfortunately they sent me the wrong size which is why i first tried using the old one which obviously didn’t work.
