As a otr trucker, I spend 3 to 4 days a month at the house. I also did 8 years in the Permian basin.
Is not what you make after all, But, what you can save...I see many people making 3 times what I was making in the same week...Monday morning...Can I borough 20 dollars ? For food ? I ask...No, I need to put gas to my vehicle...I said myself Really ??
You have to be smart on your hard earned money and channeled to the right purpose.

If you want to work on the oil industry go to New Mexico. They have more jobs than they even know what to do with.

And then they just move somewhere else lol. That’s how the oil industry works. You follow the money and right now New Mexico is experiencing an oil boom. There are more job opportunities there than they even know what to do with.

i feel you there. I spent 6 years travelling all over the country doing specialized concrete work. Bridge demos, sawing out airport runways,etc. I was home maybe 25 days out of the year. It truly takes a toll on you, the money is good but thats a price to pay making good money but being away from home and family for months at a time.

The price of oil ain’t high enough in Summer of ‘22 ?
I know the native Americans don’t like oil lines running their land. But let’s keep it low for the average Joe and educate the average Joe about food security which is really national security and it will slowly effect how much oil is consumed from food miles.
