You should get in the habit of getting a market out early game. Your economy was pretty lacking without the upgrades.

Samurai seems to have a visceral hatred of collecting wood, and fishing, judging by his other videos. I think he tries to be eco-friendly. You can think of him as the Greta Thunberg of AoE.
best army composition for otto in late game is abus+huss. Mix in some Jans to protect abus but that's it. Do NOT ever make goons as otto.
they dont have goons... also cav archers are strong
@@kamels55 i meant cav archers. They are strong in some cases. But Ottoman need their hussar for tanking and melee cafe while abus gun obliterate from behind. If you use cav archer with abus, you will be constantly pushed back by an army that uses hussar in the front.
And if oponents makes full gandarmes

Wow man loved it but u had some problems with eco
1- u didn't had mosque upgrades
2-not having market upgrades for about halfway
3- so so much idle time

Hey samurai, i wonder something i have watched a lot of your videos recently (especially the FFA ones)
And is see everyone builds walls and a LOT of them.
But then in wonder something i always see 4 layers of walls or more, but i don’t see ever the max amount of outpost or they are placed horribly. Or any other kind of defence
So why everyone focus on building 4 layers of walls, but without the defence to protect them? I mean with a large and good army 4 layers of walls are gone in 1-2 min.
But i play this game a lot by myself and always build the max outpost with some heavy artillery to protect my walls.
And most of the times it works by deleting half of the attacking forces of the enemy before sending my troops in.
In my opinion walls without the required deff are just waste of time and resources or not?
Depends on the time in the game, sometimes you just need them to block of a certain direction of the map or to stall. I agree outposts are not used enough!
You don’t put a 250 woods outpost to protect a layer of wall that cost 5 woods. That would be a waste of resources.
Walls if upgraded have 7500HP. It means 4 layers of them is about 30,000HP. They buy you a lot time to make army to defend your town.
You can build only 7 outposts. Like I mentioned, walls has so much HP that you don’t even need protection. Just build 4-5 layers of them and your base is totally safe.
Outpost: 250 woods and 3000 HP.
Wall: 5 woods and 7500 HP.
See what I mean?

Nah the best 2 v 2 is my teammate this evening who played as french, asked for rush, put all 14 vills on wood, built 4 trading posts and got navajo warriors while I had musks as Portugal and nearly killed off the enemy. Except they built wall, went fortress as China and raped his weakling navajos then 1 v 2 me. I held them off on my own for 20 mins with cassadors and organ guns before giving up on rank... and life 😂😂opting for natives when you have the most OP cavalery in the game... some fuckery!
