The animator has such an amazing understanding of physical movement and all the strategy involved, as a fan of dbz with its unclear fight scenes, this is breathtaking.
@J C its the understanding of reality and grounding the story/movement/fight in it.
This way it can still retain fictional but believable without sacrificing the suspension of disbeliefe.
My only gripe is he tends to overextend the necks and arches the back a lot. It just doesn’t look right to me.

J C Who even cares if a couple of instances are unrealistic? The only thing that matters when making stuff like this is if it’s entertaining. Having one of the fighters be crushed to death by a concrete tower because it’s “realistic” would have been BORING. It’d come off as incredibly anti-climatic to the audience

I like how, without much dialogue, you can visually indicate to the viewer what they're thinking and what they're learning as the fight progresses. Winter Soldier is tough, but more dexterous and it shows with how much control over his body in the way he moves. Meanwhile Guile is just a tank, swinging hard and taking hits with far more ease, not afraid to grapple or use brute strength to down him. Excellent portrayal of the two so far, can't wait to see more!

What i love is that you really capture the essence of a real fight No big explosions or blitzing only slow, hard and brutal punches. Gives me goosebumps
The massive spinning side kick right at 2:38 is fascinating and awesome to watch; it makes sense to see someone like Guile execute a kick like that but just throw in such an absurd amount of extra momentum that it cracks stone.

Guile could win this by spamming his double sweep.
Guile is a Meta human, almost like Captain America. There is a version where Bison also captures Guile and tries to experiment on him but it all goes wrong and Guile escapes with his strength enhanced. He should be able to destroy an entire building with just one blow of his fist. Also, with his sonic boom augmented and it can pierce through any metal as if it were warm butter, perhaps can even destroy adamantium and vibranium.

@@tommy.m118 He is, as a matter of fact, it was him and Ryu who were supposed to be the main characters of the SF franchise. In the very first Street Fighter, Ryu was actually the main character (Ken was really a second player option), with Sagat as the main rival and the first evil boss, and later in the ever popular Street Fighter II, Guile, would be stepping in as the new badass hero, and having Bison as the new villain, (Originally called Vega, and oddly having his name changed into "Bison", accordingly this was done to avoid having a lawsuit on behalf of the boxer Mike Tyson). All of these things changed in the later renditions, but Guile is still seen as one of the best and strongest guys from the SF franchise. I guess that the character was later "depowered" somehow in order to make way for new wave characters like Sean, Sakura, Yun, Cammy, Rose, Alex, Oro, etc.
Guile and his partner Charlie, the latter whom at a certain point was presumed dead, were both actually experimented on, similar to what happened to Captain America, and both of them had their strength and power augmented, although Charlie had been "brainwashed" and was also Missing in Action at the time, presumably dead at the hands of the tyrant Bison. Guile escaped, and evolved. At the peak of his strength, his "Sonic boom" can pulverize Soviet tanks, his fist can tear down entire buildings with but a strike. Sadly, he is a very underrated character and ironically enough, a victim of CAPCOM itself, more or less in the same way that Megaman is. Both Megaman and Guile are really more powerful than many people would actually know about. Guile at his peak would've blown the Winter Soldier into pieces and this battle would have ended sooner with Guile as the victor.

@@tommy.m118 Maybe they need to retcon some things again, and fix some of the characters. I also know that the boxer, Balrog, can kill a large mature elephant with just one blow of his fists, this according to some sources, and this is even mentioned in one of the game's cutscenes. In one of the movie versions, the Chun Li story, (Canon or not), Balrog is seen tearing down concrete walls as if they were made out of cardboard trying to catch and kill Chun Li. So as you can easily see, many of the SF characters are really Metahumans or at least they possess superhuman strength similar to the X-Men in the Marvel universe. This is why some games were done long ago called X-Men VS Street Fighter, and Marvel VS Street Fighter (Way before the Marvel VS. CAPCOM series). This was done because most of the characters were compatible in strength and power, even Bison was equally as powerful as Magneto himself, without mentioning the fact that Bison could take away about 75 percent of his rival's life bar, just by doing an annoying hyper psycho crusher that would instantly kill most of the characters (A move also seen in Street Fighter Alpha series). So anybody out there thinking that the SF characters are "weak" or unable to beat up any of the Marvel characters, needs to go back and learn a little bit more about the franchise and about gaming history. For example, only a noob or a millennial born yesterday would say that Guile has no chances to win against the Winter Soldier etc. when the truth is that Guile is practically at a Captain America level of experience & strength (Comicbook version), because the MCU movie version is actually weaker than the one seen in the real deal Marvel comics. The only character, not really belonging to the Marvel universe, who could easily beat up Guile and perhaps some other of the Street Fighters, would be Goku of Dragonball and that match can only happen in an Anime verse. So here are my 2 cents on the matter.
