You may want to try out 2 stage vac next. Ridgid "redline" makes a 2 stage that is rated for higher CFM. This may created better low volume pressure for your long run tube.

The "Red Line" Rigid tools are a different company than the Orange line. The Red Rigid is made by Emerson Tool who own the Rigid brand name. The Orange Rigid is made by TTI under a license agreement with Ermerson Tools to use the Rigid name.

I feel like the suction peak has to do with the horsepower of the vacuum. I have the Bauer 6 gallon 4 horsepower but I don't know the peak of the suction but it does really good for me. I also have the Bauer Bauer cyclone dust collector and it works really well for me too.

Thanks for the infomation. I stumbled onto your channel by accident but I am looking for the best wet/dry vac I can get for my money. My old Ridgid of 22 years died. Well caught on fire but thats my fault for lending it out and it coming bad with a filter hard as a rock. If you could do an update on after using the vac on how the filter system works out? And maybe some data on them sucking up a bucket of water dirt nails. Im going to subscibe and check out you other videos.

I've had this for a few weeks now and I've been pushing it pretty hard without a single problem. I just had to replace my dead sump pump and in doing so I had to suck out all the water which had to be around 20-30 gallons all I did was drop the hose in and let it go and it drained the whole thing in about 2 min. Then I let it run the entire time to keep it dry while I worked and it had no problems. I also dropped it down my basement stairs (18 stairs) it bounced did a couple flips and smacked the wall at the bottom and not a scratch on it.
I did test the filter system (I wish I filmed it) by sucking up 10 gallons of fine saw dust and you can hear the filters switching back and forth and it never lost suction, so the self cleaning system does work.
I did convince my neighbor to buy a Ridgid red line vacuum and he got RIDGID 50358 14 GALLON 2-STAGE WET/DRY. americatools.com/ridgid-50358-14-gallon-2-stage-wet-dry-vac-rv2400a and if I were to buy another one it would be that one. It has stronger suction, same build quality, just as quite but only has one filter.
The duel self cleaning filter system is cool but I'm worried that over time and a lot of use it's just one more thing that can go wrong.
