Kara is not a native English speaker, but for
me, her accent is so good. If I may ask, where is she from?

About the salary, it seems the salary system in school is same with a factory in Thailand. A factory tends to pay a salary according to the Nationality.

Unfortunately teachers in Thailand are massively underpaid, it's fair to say that they do have the chance to enjoy a cheaper lifestyle somewhere in smaller towns. 🫠However, even in Bangkok, the cost of living is increasing rapidly.

Same here. I want to find an English teacher in Bangkok or Chiang Mai next year. How about you?

I think it doesn’t really matter if you don't have experience, as there are many training centers that will teach you from A-Z how to teach and what materials to use. So, even without experience, you will get some guidance. However, not all companies are like this, so I hope you will be lucky enough to find a good school.

I’m a multi skilled engineer and a degree means very little. I’ve interviewed candidates with degrees and yes while the theory is good and sound for that particular course but there is no to very little hands on experience . Good on paper terrible in real life work

Totally agree with you😊I majored in teaching English and German languages. A lot of my group mates never even tried to work as teachers because it requires a lot of passion, patience, and dedication. I truly believe the majority of skills can be obtained during practice, and basic teaching techniques can be learned through TEFL or other courses. A degree doesn’t automatically make you a good teacher.

Start by posting a brief introduction with pictures about yourself in a teaching group on Facebook. Include when you are available to start and what type of job you are looking for. You can also contact agents directly, as they often offer various jobs in the comments. Additionally, you can use a website called AJARN, though it might take some time for them to respond. Good luck with your job search 🩵

Hi, thanks for asking! As far as I know, it is possible, but it's not easy. Apparently, the easiest way is to apply to some religious schools. In my friend's school, the principal is from Ghana, so I assume it's feasible. Good luck with your job search 💜💜
