As a member of a Federally Recognized Tribe in Northern California...I am extremely relieved that this family was not exterminated as determined by outside entities. You got your facts wrong Bob who is not even Native from our lineage was just a temporary interim chairman. As for the Costanoan Rumsen Carmel Tribe we are stronger than ever and we do have are 501C3 and continue to work well with others and our traditions. As for those claimed to be expelled we have no documentation that you speak of.
