- It is always such a relief once all the goats are fed and content! We work fast in the morning to get everyone breakfast and out to pasture!!

After this video was made, the mommas went to their breastfeeding support group to complain that no one told them they would literally be beaten up several times a day. I heard on another channel that the babies will chase the moms around and try to feed nonstop too. I heard bucks can be rougher than. the does. Is this true? I know there are a lot of bucks in this group of babies, so that would make sense.
It is true, many of the moms relish when it is time for the babies to sleep on their own as it gives them a bit of peace.

Hi Hope, does the udder area contain a lot of nerves? It looks painful when the kids headbutt the dam to bring down more milk.
I don’t think it’s painful or the dams would not be so patient I imagine.

Yes! Afternoon nap then they are crazy 4-7!
Ok a goat only has 2 teats so do they just take turns? lol or do you try and graft them to maybe a Mom that only has one kid?Mother Nature has an away just wondering if you let them work it out or you step in!
Usually they get enough but if a mother has 3-5?I offer a bottle to help out. If they take it they need it.
Why do babies keep like punching moms milk bags?
To get the moms to let down milk.
