- Let's take a first look at the brand new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ Coupe! Join me for a full walkaround tour of the new generation AMG GT to discover it inside and out, the design and aerodynamics, the engine, suspension, technology, and plenty more. Let's check it out!
After a long period waiting for the new model to arrive, it is now here, launching as both the AMG GT 63 and AMG GT 55; depending on the market. With a design inspired by the previous GT Black Series with a large and aggressive front grille, through to the visual side wearing the Appearance Package and a rear wing. Sharing a base platform with the SL 63, although with a totally different look, the car has positioned more towards offering usability and practicality as a 2+2 configuration rather than a strict 2 seater.
We're in the studio to take a full tour and go through the new AMG GT in line with the global debut during Monterey Car Week in California.

Right! My notification bouncing all over the place with Shmee things and I ain’t mad.
The reason i watch Shmee, is he does his own videos unlike someone.
Schmee has become the best car youtuber.
This is now in my eyes the perfect "One-car". Something I could drive in winter, for fun drives, for long across-the-continent roadtrips etc. This is my literal dream car now.
So do those tires on 21” summer rated - so no 40 degree F and below? - if so are there recommended winter or all season tires? - going to ordering my spec soon - so into this for how usable and all wheel drive - done with my Plaid and likely get rid of 1 or 2 other rides and focus on driving this
I don’t care what anybody says, this looks REALLY good. I like how sleek/streamline it is compared to its predecessor.

Every new model everyone will always say they like the previous model. I actually do like the update to the exterior/interior and with time will like it even more especially when I see it in person. At least they kept the v8. A Black Series variant will look amazing in this generation! Great video as usual!

Stunning car, good to see the V8 remaining. Only aspect of the car I don't like is the giant infotainment screen. Something like the new DB12 gets that so much better

It's interesting to me that based on Tim's recent video, these AMG GTs experienced some of the steepest depreciation, particularly on the special edition variants.
Who cares. If yer worried about that you can’t afford it. Buy a house for appreciation.

The new gt looks great I love it. But I think the previous one had a more special and sporty interior with alot of physical buttons. The adjustment knob for traction control was just awesome

Hi Tim, moments ago I was reading about this on EVO, and thought I'm surprised such a AMG GT fan /owner as yourself hadn't featured this - but of course you have already! Fascinating the small detailed revisions made by MB; what a car, even though it's been the principal F1 safety car for years, the AMG GT receives rather less 😎attention than Ferraris, Porsches or Astons, and that's a good thing. One for the garage, Tim? One day, hopefully, wonder what colour you'd spec? Cheers!

I don’t know how he does LA. I went there in May, and I’ll never be back. Worst experience of my life. I had the option to enjoy a week on the company because I was on a business trip. I told my boss that night that I wanted the first flight out. I didn’t even get around to renting a car. I took the rail and bus to the airport in the AM, and that alone was a huge mistake. I got on my flight, but it definitely didn’t make my experience any better. I got threatened, cussed out, and someone tried to trip me getting off without me saying a word or looking at anyone. I literally was just riding not acknowledging anyone. I’ll never go to that state again. I had to walk around bags of crap. In the middle of the city. I saw a woman being drug out of a Walgreens by her hair and sprayed. I saw several violent encounters. And that’s before I decided to used the rail the next day.
@@mattbrawner7888 Shmee gets the red carpet treatment using his own wealth and on the dime of manufacturers. Exclusive entry, premiers and dinner events. He only hangs around in exclusive neighborhoods like Rodeo Drive, Pebble Beach and the such. He avoids dicey parts of cities and even then he's in his car. That's how he does it.

I loved the old gen GT series, i got my hands on every model and loved them all. My only complaint was the weird spot for the shifter.

Merc is a brand I’ve always lusted after, and when they introduced the GTR I fell in love. The design language is “updated” but it retains the DNA. I wish I had the means to own this car
