I have a terrible time with French knots & didn't understand other Colonial knots by others, yours totally make sense! Thank you so much! The knot on a stick is fun too! I'm trying all three today!
OMG!!!! You have saved my sanity!!!! Although I still cannot for the life of me master a French knot, you've helped me nail a colonial and I am so bloody happy! I've had IRL lessons and seen many other CZcams videos, but this is AMAZING! Thank you from an incredibly bewildered Cross Stitcher ❤️ I promise to keep practicing the Frenchies x
May I say... I now love doing these knots. You’re an amazing teacher.
Your tutorials are the best. I am getting back into canvas stitching after years and needed a refresher. Thank you 😊
Every Wellesley video I have watched has been superb! Great instruction, and great camera work! JUST what this student needed! Thank you!
This is the best tutorial ever!!
Please post more videos xxxx. These are the best on the internet
I finally feel like I know how to do French knots. Thank you so much!
Great teacher!
Loved learning the colonial knot!! Thank you!
You are a great teacher Mam
All this time I've been dying Colonial knots instead of French knots. SMH.
Thanks for showing the difference!
This is certainly beautiful ❤️
Your such a wonderful teacher very kind also.Iam new to needle pointing Iam watching every video you have ever made on NP and Subscribing .I do remember this French Knott from when I was a little girl 50 years ago in girl scouts haha oh my .God bless you and thank you so much my friend 💜🙏
Ricki Wolfe Is.
You make it look so easy.
I like her calm voice
Very informative! I always though french knots were wrapped around the needle 4 times and always had trouble with them. Will definitively be trying the colonial knot.
4 times? Who on earth told you that. I was taught only once around the needle, if anything larger was needed, then a thicker thread should be used. Bullion knots have several twists, but they are a completely different thing, and are also worked differently.
Omg 4 times!! I usually go twice, and 3 times is my max!
Awesome! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for your help
Thank you!
The "knot on a stick" is also called the pistil stitch in hand embroidery. Lovely video -- thank you.
Que delicado!
Posta mais vídeos?Por favor?!
Can these knots be interchangeable?

I agree with everyone saying all the good things about you. In saying that, I hate to be the one to say anything negative, but I'm new to any kind of needle work and I thought you would want to know any down sides to your video. I'm not trying to be negative in any way what so ever. I just struggled terribly trying to see what you were doing because of being able to see through your work area and you using that light thread... I couldn't do it, I stopped the video and left this comment. I'm sorry, but maybe next time.
