Yep and they do it right. Temecula Stampede fucks it up every time...... the ending..... grapevine right, grapevine left, slide forward then back then shake it and 2 half turns. It’s like they all try to show off. Fucks up the whole ending of the dance. So you have half the floor standing looking for the restart. So good job Trouts!!! You guys do it how I was taught.

I’ve never seen a different one. I just went and looked on Copperknob and this is the only version there. However, it seems there are always variations to popular dances. As long as you’re having fun, it’s all good 👍🏼😀
No disrespect intended I promise. It’s just a musician and a martial artist so timing and synchronization can really bug me if it’s not pretty on point. But I am NOT a dancer so I understand the difficulty involved here for sure 👌🏼 I can do crazy spin kicks flying thru the air and play 7 instruments buuuuut following basic dance steps is my kryptonite LOL

There are no turns in this dance. If folks do turns, they are simply embellishing the dance with their own style.
