I've been watching Cole act since School Ties and more importantly Dazed and Confused! I was literally 19 years old when it came out and it was created in reference to my high school "Robert E. Lee Sr. High School" in Texas. Cole and the rest of the actors who basically catapulted their careers during that movie all did an amazing job. Cole is one of the best actors around and 100% stood the test of time. 🤠🎥 Great interview even though not overnight!
I never saw School Ties or Dazed and Confused, but I did watch Cole's father, Wings Hauser, in so many roles on TV and when I saw Cole, the resemblance was striking. No one had to tell me whose son he was. Yellowstone is popular because it encompasses family heritage, the value of owning your own land, protecting what is yours and it shows real men doing whatever it takes to protect their families and life's work. Real men are seriously lacking in our country today. There will be no Season 6, sadly, just a show extension in November, then a new spinoff begins around December with McConaghey. I'll give it a chance, but will rewatch all the seasons of Yellowstone from time to time. No soy boys on that show, very refreshing. I grew up going to rodeos even though we had to live in the 'burbs, my father was the son of a farmer and my childhood was filled with Angus cattle and other livestock. Yellowstone really speaks to me.
Dazed and Confused...The GREATEST coming of age movies...EVER! One of the great sound tracs! Love Yellowstone. Sad they are going through, what they are going through! 🤷🏻♂️
He plays such a rich character with so much depth in Yellowstone. The perfect example of how to play an incredibly macho man's-man but also able to convey his soft side and vulnerabilities...something completely lacking in modern 1-dimensional "strong female characters".

Not letting big dynastys have the control without a fight Must be the Indian and cowgirl in me but bring back the days of communication that we all know. I will choose to watch Yellowstone over the stupid news media any day. Tired of canned heat YELLOWSTONE all the way!!!
Yellowstone and Rip grabbed my attention immediately. I love the character Rip and the shades in him that Cole Hauser brings out-what talent to be able to show that to us! As a result of all the fumbling around with scheduling I am left cold now-I am over the fascination and moving on but will look for Cole Hauser. Not at all interested in anymore B.S. from Taylor Sheridan regardless of his writing talent.talent.
This interviewer needs to ask a direct question and then shut up and listen for the answer instead of rambling on about what he thinks the answer should be. Very annoying!
this interviewer seems to annoy Cole, I don't particularly love his interview style and he almost seems disrespectful at times with Cole, for example... he has worked hard and been in some really big movies and this guy acts like he was a nobody that just got lucky overnight with the role of RIP. I remember watching him in Tears of the Sun (I liked the film even though it didn't do that well) and thinking he would be a household name one day... this guy just seems to fake to me with him fake smile and smug attitude.
I like what he said…. Its stairs not an elevator. Its true most people dont get that. I dont like bull riding. I think its cruel to the animals and its stupid for the men. Why dont you see female bull riders? Btw? I dont think a man needs to ride a bull to prove he is a man.
