I loved this episode, and with so much going on to kick of this show returning, I’m only more anxious about what’ll happen when the Day Of Unity arrives. Also, I’m glad Luz told Amity about the stuff that happened in Yesterday’s Lie, thank god we won’t have to worry about her not saying anything
Yeah, I’m glad they didn’t go with the cliche “why didn’t you tell me!” “I didn’t want you to worry!” angsty arc. I much prefer how they did it with them having proper communication, even if Luz is afraid of telling her. It makes them a much healthier couple in my eyes. There are better ways to create angst anyways than a petty argument like that
This was such a good episode to kick off season 2B. It had everything: An elaborate Luz plan, King and Hooty causing destruction, Eda reuniting with Raine, another Coven Head and even a friendship moment between Amity and Willow. I can’t wait for next Saturday 😉😆
Holy Titan, there's so much we can talk about in this episode! - It's good to see the development of Amity and Willow's friendship, kinda felt like in their early years, when they were good friends. - Thanks to the fights between the heroes and the coven heads we finally discover the method for the invisibility glyph; kinda funny actually: light at the center, surrounded by 2 ice and 1 light glyphs, connected in a circle. It reminds me of water in its formula. - Terra is so evil. Her old figure hides her cruel nature towards everyone. Just when I thought she and Willow could become a sort of mentor and disciple, now we know those two will fight, and it's going to be difficult. - If there's one thing I wished they should've done was after the fight, Luz should've cried when Amity said she wanted to take things slow and wanted to help, instead of going to the next scene. The Day of Unity will happen in 1 month... Considering the timeline on the show, Belos might plan to attack the Human Realm on Halloween night (according to some cultures, on this day, the barriers between the natural and supernatural are the thinnest). Why does this reminds me so much of 1940 Disney's Fantasia, more specifically the "Night on Bald Mountain" segment? On the Day of Unity, the 'creatures of evil' will gather at the Head to worship their master (Belos), and under his spell they'll be extensions of his will, with the sole purpose of invading the Human Realm. This is just too much! I'm afraid of going forward with this series, but we've got to keep our spirit strong. Luz's words at the end of the episode are simple, but so powerful; we just need to take things one day at the time.
@@mauroperez2848 Sometime ago, I had an idea of an episode that tackled Luz's guilt side and secrets, combined with an 'origins' story: the idea was that sometime after that first attempt with the portal, Luz suddenly faints at Hexside, which was caused by a demon feeding on guilt and dark thoughts and Amity and Willow go inside Luz's mind in an attempt to rescue her. Alongside Inner Luz, Amity and Willow discover the dark past of their friend (bullying, loneliness, parents, etc.), ending with the witchlings sharing their light to the little girl inside Luz's head. After Luz's recovery, Luz brings Amity to their tree and then we have the confession of the promise she made with her mother, letting out every emotion and tears, while Amity helps her and gives her the "we will take things one day at a time" line.
Theory: the potion that Terra was giving Raine was neither a mind control potion nor a memory potion. First, Raine was coherent and had full access to their memories of dating Eda, plus they were holding back in their fight, so simple mind control is out of the question (though there may still be room for something more sophisticated). Second, Raine had been planning their opposition to Belos for a long time, so even if their memory of the BATTs was wiped away, their rebellious streak would have remained. I theorize that the headaches are a symptom of something else, like a constant surveillance spell or some form of geas or coersion spell that would punish Raine for attempting to repeat their rebellion.
Hate to debunk this but a later episode very clearly shows that he whistles to turn the potion into something else to avoid the effects. It very much is a memory/mind control potion.
Seeing willow pumping iron was awesome for her character development, makes her look much more confident and independent. Also the moments with amity visiting and braiding is so sweet.
This was a great episode to get back into the Boiling Isles to see what happens after "Yesterday's Lie". It was great seeing Luz and company again, the emotions that Luz was going through, I had a strong feeling would chip into her during this episode, and I'm so glad that Lumity is back as well. I'm also glad that instead of Luz keeping the events from "Yesterday's Lie" a secret until the end of the season, she tells Amity about them, and now Eda, King, Willow, Gus and Hooty are likely to know at this point too. Just one day at a time, Luz.
Yo, does anyone else see the Flyer Derby pictures on Willow's wall and think of Any Sport in a Storm that's in two weeks?? I feel like it's a subtle foreshadowing.
I know it's a lot to take in yes this episode was really good it's nice to see the girls holding hands and being girlfriends I don't think they'll break up if they really are strong and they really love each other they'll stay together love and indoors
I love your videos and seeing Hooty in bones is creepy and I love Lumity Moments and Trusting Kiki is a bad idea with Willow training like that is good and Raine is a great guy to Eda but doesn't know who she is and I saw that coming about Kiki double-crossing luz with the fireworks and I love this new episode!
0:25 OH MY GOD THAT'S HOOTY!!! What the heck?? I didn't even realize, I thought it was just a weird creature helping with laundry or something. THAT'S HOOTY?! Also, aside from that, that fight scene between Eda and Raiine was just genuinely hard to watch. Like I *loved* it, but it was also heartbreaking. Man I need to know what happens next!
For some reason the notification didn’t pop for me… But aside from that, this episode was fun, adorable, and has me hyped for what’s to come. I suspected Amity would learn Spanish, sweet potatoes are the cutest nicknames for her and Luz, an dI thought I would actually like Kikimora. But no, she’s still a bitch. And Willow and Gus are actually becoming utilized more, the former getting awesome hair and the latter becoming Amity’s wingman in the most hilarious way possible. And I’m glad Luz kissed Amity back, finally!!!!
What a nice start to season 2B. I had a feeling that Luz was still held up on her promise with her mother. While Raine wasn't completely brainwashed, their memories of Eda have been erased or suppressed. I feel like I am one of the few people who felt bad for Kikimora. She really was forced to choose between her family or her job. I am curious as to what her upbringing was like. Even if she ultimately chose her job over family, her face did show that she does regret her decision and may plant the seed for her eventual leave from Belos. The newly introduced Terra Snapdragon made quite a first impression with her debut. Not only was she responsible for Raine's current condition, but she also played Kikimora like a fiddle so she would choose her job or die. We now have a timeframe for when the Day of Unity occurs, which explains the title of the season 2 finale, an idea for what the plan is, and Belos even did a face reveal to really bring in favoritism. Of course, you can't forget about the Lumity moments in this episode. Can't wait to see more.
Willow's new look and those gains, Raine's back, another coven head and more Lumity. I kinda knew she wasn't gonna watch the vid on Luz's phone. At least Amity knows about what happened in Yesterday's Lie. And that face reveal, Gus and Willow were not impressed. Still nice seeing Lilith and Gwendolyn too.
Raine isn't in their right mind, thanks to that awful tea that Terra brewed and is making them drink. It's also affecting their memory, forgetting certain things, and they even have had _false_ memories implanted in their head 😰🤔🥺😣😔. There seems to be no limit to how _low_ Belos and his lackeys will sink to get what he wants 😠😡.
Two of them blushing,1:32 Cute nicknames and instead of Amity kissing Luz on the cheek we now have Luz kissing Amity on the cheek,1:41 how much do we love Lumity? 😍😍🤣🤣
@@johnhayward998 It does. And Belos is definitely benefitting from her being so loyal to the point where it’s driving her insane. But she’s just done too much for me to feel bad for her at this point.
While Kikimora gains sympathy for wanting to see her mother (and family 🤔?), and _loses_ some for what she tried to do to Luz and Amity after they tried to help her, that so-called promotion that was promised to her, was letting her _live_ 😰😱. And she seemed so full of regret, fear and despair when she speaks on the podium to present the emperor 😰🥺😔.
This episode was insane! I was going nuts for it! That Terra woman made the List, and I'm talking about the kind Polly has, and I knew Kikimora couldn't be trusted. I'm so scared for Luz, the Emperor has something bad plan for her I just know it. He already took Raine, he's not going to get Luz too or so help me I will...crap, I can't do anything. I'm freaking out! Also, I miss your talks at the end of your reactions. I wanna hear your thoughts again, I enjoyed them.
Belos _is_ most likely Philip Wittebane, and he obviously _cropped_ his ears 😰😱. And Hunter most likely is a clone (or Grimwalker 🤔) of his brother who is still unnamed at the moment 😥🤔.
I'm mostly here for the plot instead of the romantic moments, but I must say the moments were cute. Also, am I the only one who thinks Hooty could probably take on the Emperor all by himself? Crazy 'bird tube' is a monster!
