Thank You so much, bios restarted settings after my old laptop was not used for long time and changed sata settings. I have never thought that was causing my windows xp start loop.
My BIOS screen was a little different but the ATA issue plus boot order solved my booting problem. This occurred because the battery went dead and when the new battery was installed, the defaults got reset. Windows XP was obviously not the Windows version first installed on this Dell Optiplex which I bought used. It would have been better had you had some English narration along with the video. Without your video, however, the solution would not have been obvious - even all these years later!
Thanks so much. I have Dell Latitude E5500 and it fixed my problem too. I need to use Windows XP because it's the only windows that is compatible with the other programs that I need to use.
I have same problem and u tried the same as u did. But as I have asus p4p800 motherboard. There is no such option if SATA Mode Selection. Could you please help?
