00:00 - I've gone to our eastern neighbour, Finland to be precise, to Riihimäki. Here is the Nordics biggest weapon manufactory. Might not be the only one but the biggest. Sako, Tikka and Sako munition is done here. The production was moved here 1927, and started 1921 in Helsinki. And today we will look how you make a weapon, from start to finish.
01:00 - As it looks for now i can't be used as a bolt. But for now it's the base material for the bolt for a Sako rifle simply put. On the factory there is about 90 employees involved in the production and in total over 100 people working.
01:22 - So in total produces Sako & Tikka about 60,000 finished rifles per year from the factory. Which is a considerable number, just about 280 rifles per day. So this is the box... Here we see Tikka's two lock points? Instead for Sako that uses three. This will become the pipe as we will see.

Do they still use Bofors steel? Just kidding, but seriously how does modern steel compare to Bofors?

They probably use the steel we give them from our great iron mines up here in northern sweden.... refined by Sandvik or Böhler noble steel
