It reaffirms my faith in humanity when I see posts like this. Even “3rd world” countries with low GDP and low average yearly income, can find a reason to celebrate just being alive. Good food and drink, good weather, family friendly, local people (best behavior). Don’t believe the the media and elites are feeding us. These people are WAY BELOW any poverty level that exists in the US/Aust or EU. God bless them.

My wife's village gets their water from a spring a long way from the village and they have two large cement tanks above the village. The system was built by German Agro. Not sure if they are around anymore. quiet group but got the job done. This year during the floods in the north the piping was washed away. All the relatives, and thank God there are a lot of them, chipped in to buy new piping and they had to fix it themselves. All is well now. This is great every village needs water for home use. The mountains in Lao are a tough place to live but as we see here they are not down they celebrate life everyday. Thanks for what you do. It was nice to meet you at the airport the other day. will contact you when we come back. I have 18" of snow in my yard. Makes it hard to get to our wood. Only heat we have.
