- Here is PMEX REMIX version 0.95B and all of its playable characters' skins and the stage selection list! PMEX REMIX is a mod for Super Smash Bros. Brawl / Project M that adds a ton of new stages, characters and adjusts every character's moveset and the overall gameplay for a faster gameplay experience.

This is my 2nd time uploading this, I felt like the first version was going through the skins way too fast and I really didn't want to start all over and rerecord the video so for this version I just slowed the video down to get a better look at the costumes and I made the SFX quiter cause of the slowed down footage affecting the audio.

The modders have so much passion put into this project. The skins were absolutely a misopportunity by Nintendo for Smash Ultimate.
Ehh, no, not really. When thinking about it, it's very disproportionate about the amount of skins each character has in comparison to others. Where some have the default 8, and then there's ones who get like from 15-20 skins. Take the part of where it shows X, then Zeros immediately afterwards for example. Some feeling like they're just scrapping the bottom of the barrel, just to add more, for the sake of more. To the point this remix feels like the epitome of "quantity over quality". 8 was probably Nintendo's way of having balanced and fair for everyone, so some aren't more catered than the others, in regards to content, such as the amount of skins per character.
There is such a thing as misplacing your passion, with a bad sense of direction.
@@byronlyons3548 Ok so what if some characters have more skins than others? This doesn't feel like "quantity over quality" all of the skins look very smooth to play as and it was clear that passion was there the whole time. The only reason why the numbers are uneven us because they couldn't think of skins for all characters...

Just like how there has been for most of the characters in the official Smash games after Melee, if not Brawl. Even for the other alt costumes, that's different than their usual outfit, to have alt colors as well that they normally don't have. Cause otherwise it's just like what I said, quantity over quality.
Like I said in the last sentence of my last comment, or more implied, is that you need more than passion. Otherwise it just ends up as an amalgamated mess.
Quick!!! Someone please make a frickin mod for Smash Ultimate that adds alternate costumes!!!
Plus Throw in single player modes like Break The Targets, All Star Mode, Board The Platforms.
Plus adds new characters that missed the Ultimate train.
Please somebody make that happen.
I'm happy no matter what they throw in its really fun, and nice to see after all, or maybe it's because ultimate dissapointed way to much already either way I love costumes.

Some of the picks I can see having missed out on, but things such as alternate designs like Nuts and Bolts Banjo seem to stretch it a bit too far, there's also to be considered how a model would look onto a existing model, the proportions of some don't exactly match. Some models also do not exist so costumes based off of those ideas are harder to accomplish than not.
I do notice however the idea of a Matthew Costume for Isaac. I personally made the clothes for the Dark Dawn costume and I'm also working on new faces for Isaac along with other game accurate details. I want to see other GS characters done as well and I've started on some models for them in nothing associated with remix. I've played through all three games but Dark Dawn gets the title of Black Sheep only because I can't atm export models from the game and utilize the materials present there.
My best recommendation for missed opportunities of yours is to learn modding yourself and also contribute. That's what I did and now Isaac has his Dark Dawn set, Lyn has swordmaster and revamped recolors, and Chrom has his TMSFE stuff.
It's a great community and sense of brotherhood and nobody who puts in effort gains skill in many different areas.
SA2 Knuckles and the Shadow Androids actually are costume alts shown in the video. The Shadow Androids are just as they appear in Shadow the Hedgehog's multiplayer, and SA2 Knuckles is his last alt.
The fact that some of the newer fighters were backported to Brawl is impressive on the part of the mod creators. I’m about to list off all the ones I’ve noticed are still absent, but this roster is ridiculously big and I think we all understand why not EVERY character could make it.

Everyone else is accounted for I think. Missing 15 (17 of each Mii is counted separately) characters SOUNDS like a lot until you take a look at the Remix Roster and remember there’s 113 characters here. I’d say that’s pretty damn impressive

Someone is already working on Kazuya and I think they already teased Incineroar. Also Bowser Jr and Rosalina and Steve might be impossible at the moment.

@@MegaZeo I believe it's because of the way Luma functions and I don't think there is a way to make a proper clown car in brawl's engine.
@@MegaZeo For Steve, I believe that they can rework his moveset to fit the limitations of this modpack imo. The same can be said with the other complex characters that are missing...
The costumes on this game looks great. Someone should do a costume reference for this one.

I would absolutely love if somebody did that. Everybody on the team works really hard to give the best we can so taking time to acknowledge it on a even slower level would be loved.

This mod surprises me a lot, they just need to add villager, megaman, rosalina, greninja, bowser jr, duckhunt, inkling, king k rool, incineroar, piranha plant, byleth, min min, steve and kazuya and it will have all the ultimate characters. If it happens, maybe nintendo will sue them.

Why didn't they give Squall and Zack their Kingdom Hearts 1 and Birth By Sleep designs? Seemed like a no brainer that they'd be used as alts since Cloud and Sephiroth have theirs.
I wasnt even aware they had KH1 designs. I recommend asking about that in the Remix server, a lot of content and costumes didnt make this update as we didnt want to wait another 4 months to release the update.

I’ve been saying this for years, but the positioning of some of the characters being on the left makes no sense. It only worked in Melee (plus Luigi in 64) because they had to be unlocked. Here, every character is available from the start (wish there were unlockables), so just looks weird.

By my count they're only missing seven characters: Rosalina, Villager, Mega Man, Byleth, Kazuya, Incineroar, and Minecraft Steve. For many of them (but not all) the technical limitations are understandable

@@115zombies935 You get it. Brawl has literally break the targets, trophies, a story mode, all the expansion system stuff, many things that can be edited having a base for the future. Ultimate has VS mode and some boss battles, nothing else. Cant compare
Half believe, Nintendo might confirmed soon about playable characters, assist trophies, fighters outfits, stages, minions and bosses.
Also better story mode during the game's updates.

Rex as in the XBC2 character would just require a new moveset and nobody really cares enough to spend that much time into making one from scratch.
If you wanted the .95 trailer for remix you wouldve been aware of the end tease for Villager but you probably didnt.

Wondering how complicated is it to program the Lumas to add Rosalina to the roster.
Well it was for a very long time, things are constantly getting updated with the code and boundaries are always being broken. But it's not more of a could it function but more how well will it properly function.
Not really a fan of a heap of stages being grouped together like that and having you hold down buttons to choose them
if you followed remix and understood how it was put together over the years you would understand the "why" rather than immediately judge at a glance.

I like it better than looking at a screen in ultimate for 4 minutes before I find a stage I want. it's not perfect yet, but having the ability to chose a stage that has a alternate soundtrack list based on which variant you chose is kinda epic
It’s much better that way IMO. Makes it much easier to find stages and is still very easy to select any of the stages.

They lost a chance of putting movie Sonic as a skin for Sonic
I don't think the movie skin would be a good inclusion to the game. Only because one is realistic and the model that exists is from the mobile game. Mods of it exist but I can't blame remix for not taking it. Metal Sonic was given references to the sonic movie from 1999 but people rather have a obvious most recent in your face representation than other things.
@@RockyTheThird man, the movie Sonic isn't that realistic (I mean the actual design, not the first one, even they trying to be realistic, it's ugly and you know that people blamed it) and Brawl tried to have "realistic" graphics just to fit the Twilight Princess atmosphere on the game, besides Cloud has his AC alternative costume. I would trade the Beat cosplay Sonic for Movie Sonic all days
