I have curly hair as well. In order to get rid of it, I blowdry it in one direction and then comb it over to the opposite direction, then blodrying it this way again. Works perfectly for me.

Minoxidil 5%good or bad
Bad. Results are only temporary for as long as you use it, and the results don't looks good as the hairs are typically thin and patchy. Just rock with what you have and style it to the best of its ability.
Logan Smith I agree with you. Some people see better and longer lasting results than others, but most aren’t satisfied with their results.
You could try peppermint essential oil for the beard. Just google it. Basically a self made beard oil that you apply twice a day that had a similar effect to 3% minox in a study. Study was done on mice or rats I believe, but it can't cause any harm if it doesn't work as it is not a drug opposed to minox.

The difference between scissor cut and clipper cut :
Scissors are actually CUTTING the hair, when clippers are BREAKING it, damaging the hair's shaft.
