Hi Buckin. I’m in Northern Ontario, mostly Spruce and Jack Pine. I bought the 550XP Mk 2. Absolutely love it. That auto tune is the sweetest thing, set the saw down and it will idle all day.
My 572xp responded very well to a pipe I made and it appears that the 562xp will respond very well also. Makes a fella think twice about porting these saws when they respond so well to a well thought out pipe and a proper chain!
I have several pro grade saws now and nothing feels as good as a 5 series saw in my opinion. The 660 is strong but the feel of 5 series is where its at
that pipe sounds mean, love it ! With that being said, I've been cutting firewood for over 55 years(and still cutting). I've been riding Harleys(straight pipes) driving trucks, shooting guns and running bulldozers too. Do you see where I'm going with this, you've got to wear that ear protection. You've got to protect your ears even if it's only a couple of minutes of running a saw. I wasn't smart enough to know this when I was younger. I've got Tinnitus and that not something to look forward to. Just looking after you like you do for us. Getting back to that Husky wish I was in the market for another saw. That saw with 24'' chain would be a perfect fit for me. Who knows maybe I'll talk myself into one. That was nice of those people sending you that saw and Smart. Who knows maybe some kind of discount coupon for your followers in the future. thank you, Sir
seems like a winner :) I just picked myself up a mint 044 10mm that runs hard. Cutting firewood, splitting and being a stay at home dad. Thanks for the inspiration
I’ll be buying myself one of these after seeing it get put through it’s paces. Thanks for the good info Buckin’ Especially seeing what it does after being piped.
Billy, just wanted to say you’re so wholesome it’s refreshing to see someone on CZcams with a message like yours. Love the content, could watch it for hours. God bless brother.
Looks like a great fire saw. This is good size for Hotshot crews 90% of the time. We used to run 266XP's back in my day and remember getting that same satisfying howl when we rigged K&N's. We were Forest Service, so we didn't "discuss" muffler mods.
Hogged out the middle of the stock muffler on mine and welded on a west coast saw exhaust port and it’s a ripper now. The autotune just adapts to each tweak or performance enhancement flawlessly.
I used 395, and T525 ,and had no need for nothing else.. but trees are different here on Portugal, we have big trees, but you have gigantic trees... I'm subscribing to your Chanel just for the happiness I saw on your face while working that saw.
Back in the day I had an old Homelite XL925 that I used for cleaning up overgrown properties. That old reliable daily driver with a massive bar was a faithful ripper
Buckens back playing in the “Man Glitter” (saw dust) thanks for sharing some of the amped up energy with us. The 500 series saws are tough customers. I have ran the 545, 562, and 592 XP’s the MKII’s are scrappy fellas and will definitely surprise when broken in, and especially with a tuned pipe of sorts. seams those types saws like pipes a touch more than a header type for some reason in my toying. Those saws make a lot of power for thier weight. A lot of ported saws are only just over the 500 series by about 10-15% but once ported those husky’s they all grab a whole new gear.
I had one that had some port work and a muffler and that thing was an animal. It got destroyed before it was 100% broken in but he's building me another one and I'm anxiously awaiting it. Glad to see a true professional agree with my opinion
And yet again,MORE GREAT CONTENT!! just finish both recent videos, and wow man, what a difference that pipe made!! That little saw is a brute!! I dont own any 5 series yet, only the 3 series, and it looks like i will be buying a 572, and.....a 562 now lol, ghee thanks buckin for helping me add to my collection😂😂 hope ya have a great week, and glad ta see ya feeling better🪓🪵🌲
“Buckin’ is bequeathed Excalibur by the Lady in the Lake, (whos’ name is “Husqvarna” if you didn’t know), and immediately transforms it into Obi Wans lightsaber” purely for “chits and giggs”. Looks good on ya! Sounds So Good. Sounds like if Norton made 60 cc scooters instead of 750/850 Commandos. *Also “up to your plums” lolololol!! How do you do it?!? Bro you’re gonna OWN CZcams one day if you keep this up! Nice Boots. 👍
I bought a 550xp first edition. It never ran right. Took it back to the dealer and they charged me a service fee to “look it over”. They claimed no issues found. It blew up the very next trip out. I mailed the saw to a dealer in Maine who fixed it for parts only. Sunfish on arboristsite nice guy. I spent $350 on shipping, top end, and a new carb to fix my saw. It seemed to run okay but i sold it and bought an echo 620p.
New pipe works great. Hope They put new, better bearings on Mark II (I work with this saw almost every day). The first edition of 560/562 had too weak bearings. Only 8 steel balls inside and something like plastic collar to keep each one on right place. The weakest point of all construction. Take care Mr. Buckin🤘😄 best wishes from Poland 🪓
very obvious difference proper exhaust is important if the saw is taking x amount of air in it has to be able to push that amount of exhaust out just like us humans if we are breathing in a lot of air if we cant push that amount out we dont run very good lol great video see you on the next one
I’ve got a load of logs coming to ring up and split for next year , I’ve never wanted to touch my 576xps muffler as it was my late fathers and I know he wouldn’t approve , but I think it’s getting piped after watching this transformation!!
The stock saw/exhaust sounds very anemic, must be government regs, eh? She does sound proper with the modified exhaust. Nice work! Peace, love and powersaws✌👍🏻✌
Buckin" that is one awesome pipe!I have the Jonsered 2260 which if Im not mistaken is the original 562, will the muffler pipe you are running bolt right on to my 2260?
So when can we expect a second u tube channel from you, you can call it opera with Buckin Billy Ray. You can moonlight as an opera singer, we know you can sing now no hiding it lol.
What will happen when your out in tne sticks snf you look back and your muffler has set a fire, ive bern there before the screens, and evrn after with a removed screen muffler.
Wow billy that was a heck of a difference i have a 2017 model I would like to try one of those pipes out how do I get one please let me know thank you so much for your videos I love them 😊
As far as holding the starter rope when you kill it: I have a Husky 390xp, thing is an animal, 160~psi of compression, does not tug back when you shut it off one bit. I rebuilt a little Husky 141 for a guy at work, 144psi compression that will yank the rope every single time. I also have a vintage 1989 Echo CS 5500, does not tug one bit. Go figure!
Hi Buckin' I am really enjoying your video and I was wondering if we can also see a modified Stihl 034av super chainsaw and a S65 Partner chainsaw please
Hey Buckin thanks for the video, the saw sounds great. What do you think about autotune? It adapts well to mod? Thanks again and have a good day everyone!
Hey buckin ive been trying to reach out im 31 i want to persue my dream as a tree feller or lumber jack...i dont know the right Terminology. But i was hoping you could give me some advice on where to start or what i can do to persue doing so or if my age is to old. If you could reach out i would really appreaciate it. Thanks for all your videos watching you and learning from your videos makes me hungry to want to persue a carrer in tree felling using a chainsaw!!!
Sure, autotune might be nice, but some of us like to (need to) fine tune and adjust our saws ourselves. Would be sweetest if Husqvarna would make both varieties...autotune and standard carb, and just call it "pick your option" 😊 The pipe lit that saw right up. Guess iv got another project
rembember jonesread buckin?had a friend that had a few.h one was big heavy with a pretty good size bar. lumberjacker for sure.musta been one that fell off your truck eh?
It's such a pleasure to be on this adventure with you, thanks for taking us along with the 562. Thank you
yer welcome
Hi Buckin. I’m in Northern Ontario, mostly Spruce and Jack Pine. I bought the 550XP Mk 2. Absolutely love it. That auto tune is the sweetest thing, set the saw down and it will idle all day.
Good to hear an oldschool guy appreciating the nowaday things. And for sure more ergonomical tools these newer ones.
My 572xp responded very well to a pipe I made and it appears that the 562xp will respond very well also. Makes a fella think twice about porting these saws when they respond so well to a well thought out pipe and a proper chain!
got that right , I not sure yet but i think this thing will ride along nicely with my ported 362 that rarely sees the light of day 😂 😂
I'm in my 50's now and love my 372 and 288, but i also like setting them down and limbing with a smaller saw. Nice saw Buckin'.
I have several pro grade saws now and nothing feels as good as a 5 series saw in my opinion. The 660 is strong but the feel of 5 series is where its at
All the credits for design, durability and craftsmanship go to Morgan.. He has dialed that pipe build down to a science.. Fantastic job Morgan 👍👍👍
He's one of the few men i can work side by side and not get in each others way

Все верно. Мой отец работает на бульдозере-и у него тоже шум в ушах и плохой слух. Он работает без наушников
seems like a winner :) I just picked myself up a mint 044 10mm that runs hard. Cutting firewood, splitting and being a stay at home dad. Thanks for the inspiration
The dynamic duo, a little Morgan and Buckin magic and here we go! 😂
I’ll be buying myself one of these after seeing it get put through it’s paces. Thanks for the good info Buckin’
Especially seeing what it does after being piped.
Ya, my wife might kill Buckin!! Making me get another saw. LOL That MkII seems like a winner!

Wow, awesome to see a 562xp like mine but twice as hungry !
Thanks Buckin l! She sure woke up with that muffler mod love it!

Best Saw ever to sit all day idling was my 266. 1983 gurl. What a Saw.
Very nice 👍
Too much power !!!! Working the fine line husq
That opening, I want to be on what your on, you crack me up!
BBR demonstrates the dictionary definition of the word “Panache”…
Looks pretty tough, I just can't justify the purchase of one since I already own a Jonsered 2260.
great one.
Dayumm Buckin nice boots! You’ve brought awareness to me for many things through your videos. What brand are those hoofs?
For my personal saw that only I use I knock the rackets down I want it to eat and chunk out big chips .
That muffler works lol… wow
Did you have to tune it to the new muffler at all or did the auto tune work good?
Thanks for these videos Buckin!! Man I don’t know how you don’t wear ear protection though?
Very nice saw BBR. If and when my 357XP dies...I'll be getting a 562. Or, I'll rebuild the 357.
either way yer golden
Goodonya Billy Ray👍🇦🇺
Morgan 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
How's the pipe making that you were working on earlier for the 500i coming along?
Well it would make a good fire wood saw . But go to saw is my 661 saw.hands down but that my opinion only 👍
I wish I had the ability to build pipes that nice
oh i think we do brother,, we just dont want to, more than we want to
Ahwoooo get one 👍

Another epic vid! Who’s making good ported mufflers for my 372??
2:52 living dangerously with that angle grinder. One slip and you’re done for.

How do we get our hands on one of them
Hey Brother, I've been lookin for a set of engineer boots like that. Where did you get em?.
Is that saw more comfortable to run than a 500i ?
What are the things called that are around your boots ?
G’day Billy, is that a Walker lightweight bar you got on that 572? Do you know what it weighs? Cheers.
I want one of those mufflers for my husky 55 haha. How much are those things?
Is it real that a long bar on smaller saw is damaging the clutch?
Wow billy that was a heck of a difference i have a 2017 model I would like to try one of those pipes out how do I get one please let me know thank you so much for your videos I love them 😊
