Not in my state, at least the average home. In Oklahoma, 500k could get you a 4000-4500sqft house if your in the right town or city. Compare that to California where 500k would get you a 1200sqft house if your lucky

As government becomes more and more incompetent, and more focused on redistribution spending via debt, the private sector will become the only option to provide services in the places where there is enough wealth to make them pay back.
