My first ever festival. Got robbed in my tent with 2 mates. Took all our money but didn't notice the bong full of weed so we were quite happy. Saw the Foo Fighters, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Pavement, Juliana Hatfield and so many more. Still feels surreal to have actually been there :)
@@ikariwarrior6425 saw them first in 92 at the famous Pinkpop festival in Holland with Pearl Jam , than a few times later in Belgium concert halls / fests .
Memorable!!
I was crowd surfing for a large portion of Rusty Cage as the sun was setting, shortly before seeing PJ in the flesh for the first time (minus Eddie), backing up NY. Got the Reading 95 logo tattooed on my wrist in '97, lolz.
I remember climbing up on a toilet block to get a good view of Neil Young. I defo went for Peal Jam too and was dissapoinyed that Eddie Vedder wasn't there. Probably only knew a couple of NY songs at the time thanks to me mum but a good memory.
@@richardkent2014 Haha. My first act of the weekend was Heather Nova - because she looked fit in her programme photo. Next time at at my dad's house I'm going to go and search for it - I swear it must still be in the loft.
I was there man!!greenday smashing pumpkins friday night foo fighters in the tent saturday plus nofx then sunday neil young and pearl jam fucking awesome now im old and depressed lol
@@rennington Yeah, it's weird. I met someone else that claimed they saw NOFX at Reading 95, lol. Perhaps they got them mixed up with Pennywise? - as I recall someone from NOFX did come out and play a song with them.
@@ikariwarrior6425 Pennywise were awesome. I was one of a massive group of people who ended up onstage while they did the bro song. On stage at Reading with my arms around Jim - something I'll truly never forget and still can't believe actually happened :)
It’s been recorded from a TV broadcast using a VCR It was also probably before remixing festivals too. If you watch the live broadcast now of Glastonbury you have to wait a few songs before it sounds ok. Then if you watch a repeat it’s been cleaned up. This would just be off the soundboard and would be more accurate to how they sounded on the day to the audience, except heavily amplified obviously

Neil + Pearl Jam was one of the most incredible gigs i ever saw in the 90's . I was in Belgium for the Pukkelpop Festival where they also all played .
