GoPro 3 - mount fatigue failure

Having a pootle in Wales, I decided to extend the route check I was doing which was lucky as it meant when the mount failed, it failed on a slower road. I was also lucky that although the mount is on the right handlebar the camera fell to the left - the right features a long, steep 'bye-bye camera' drop. I can't even see a scratch on the housing and the camera still works which is a result.
The bar on the mounting is buggered though.
