"English Thai guy cooks "world famous" lasagna in Japan in an attempt to please a Vietnamese American professional Google reviewer"
Sound like a News headline and could probably be turned into a LN title
mr worldwide
Sounds like a light novel already.

I loved how Sydney believed in her man's skills and potential and pushed him to unlock his true form
Perfect
Sydney is a fuckin goat partner, garnt mentioned in his video on why he quit the BBC that she essentially gave him that push to become a full time youtuber
Their relationship is just that wholesome 😅
Tatakae Granto Kun
@@chadsworthgigafuck7076 he was GRANTed the power of making world famous lasagna
Sydney pushed Garnt to pursue his CZcamsr career and now she pushed Garnt to do his cooking career. 🤣
Funny and wholesome as it should
"When you look for Garfield, you begin to find him everywhere."
cultural cross pollination
If John sees this he is going to start having some serious flashbacks...
Fuck man i can't get his video out of my head
"Jon, I Require Lasagna"
Coolest video he's made yet imo
I really liked the Lasagna OVA, great sidestroy with some nice character development and a very intense plot
i also enjoyed it
an enjoyable slice of life
will we have the spin off episode?
@@timothyng3226 slice of lasagna
Never had a filler episode feel this filling
I think out of all 3 to tell stories, my favourite has to be Garnt he just goes into it and tells it so dramatically that its so fun to hear what happened next.
he would make a fantastic DM for TTRPGS
It's from his experiences explaining incest anime in such a profound way
i love connor's college poop story
The cockroach story will be remembered
@@danieltoledo5437 from monk to incest enthusiast
Props to Connor for being a true bro and complimenting every iteration of Garnt's lasagne
‘Al dente’ is basically when pasta is cooked just enough to not be considered raw. Italians hate the slightest hint of sogginess in the pasta, so usually we take it out as early as possible. Many people would rather eat pasta slightly raw than soggy. If after biting into, for example, ‘penne’ you see a white ring it’s straight raw though and no good either.
I have a question from what region of Italy has the most famous cuisine. I hear Florence has the most well-known Italian food internationally
@@thelazyone1881 that's a difficult question, especially because every italian will answer in a different way, probably claiming that the cuisine from their region is the best. Still I would say that because pizza is the most well known italian dish, Naples takes the number one spot for me.
@@thelazyone1881 the region with the greatest variety of internationally exported food is probably Emilia Romagna, also known as the kitchen-table of Italy.
Parmesan cheese, Parma ham, balsamic vinegar and lasagna all come from this region.
Naturally, every region has amazing cuisine and great variety. But, considering what's famous abroad, I'd consider Emilia Romagna to be the home of most international "italian" food.
@@thelazyone1881 I don’t know who gave you the info, but Florence is def not a place that has internationally famous cuisine. Lasagna, tortellini, ‘bolognese’ pasta (which we call ‘ragù’ in Italy) and lots of other well known dishes internationally are from Emilia-Romagna, the region of Bologna. Pizza-making is a big tradition in Naples, whereas Rome is the birthplace of carbonara and cacio e pepe, whereas pesto is from Liguria, polenta is something northerners in general eat... of course each region has its own traditions and wherever you go you can find something delicious to eat, but I’d say most foreigners only know those dishes. Also, bare in mind lots of recipes that are considered Italian abroad are not a thing in Italy - for example, virtually nobody puts chicken on pasta here.
@@albertonanni9758 I'm surprised its not Sicilian cuisine considering they migrated a lot to different countries
This is probably one of the best OVA the series has had. It has character development, regression(Garnt straight up stopped), and redemption with proper story telling.
go see "Garnt was lead gitarist in a band" OVA if you haven't. that was incredible
I hope the lasagna arc continues
If something is known in at least 2 continents, then its officially world famous.
Shut in
Shut neutral
Can relate to garnt, cooking for a friend that has a super refined palate is freaking stressful, but the joy of cooking something acceptable for them is a great feeling.
69th like
And that's why I cook for my parents more and more often.
Her saying “it’s raw” is the most Vietnamese thing I’ve heard today.
Garnt has embraced his inner Garfield and has now become 'Garntfield'.
But Garfield doesn't cook lasagna
@@ZoeCuiMhe did in Garfield 2
Sydney is such a strange mélange of wholesome and degenerate.
Na, the chess arc hits different.
Sydney calling it Garnt's world famous lasagna in front of Meilyne of all people was just funny
When Trash Taste hits 2 Mil Garnt should select a few of the fans from Japan and make his world famous lasagna for them
definitely this needs to happen
IM NOT EVEN IN JAPAN BUT WE NEED THIS

Garnt's an excellent storyteller. Has he DM'd/GM'd an RPG before?
No he and Joey don't want to get another hobby
@@gmlg man that sucks to know, maybe they need with a slight push like Garnt with his Gacha, or was it Joey, I dunno, mix and matched their hobbies a bit and forgotten
Garnt: Talks about his 'World Famous Lasagna'
Garfield: 𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭.
shhh don't say it's name.
How is Jon Arbuckle's hallucination going to judge food?
And thus the God Tongue, Meilyn, allowed Garnt to become a student at Totsuki, kicking off his quest to become the academy's First Seat.
Im amazed how invested I just got in a story about lasagna
Power of slice of life
A cooking special could be really fun.
They could get some basic lessons like they did with the Chess Tournament, or they could go in blind; they could make something from their home country, or each other's home country, or call their moms and ask how to make their childhood comfort foods; they could have an Syd, Aki, and Chris as their Sous-Chefs, learn the differences between bread. The options are limitless.
Then have it judged by meilyne and chris
@@fethinggakk4185 Chris is Connor's GF, so that's a conflict of interest. Maybe ashley and nabi instead, make it an odd number of judges
Well, this comment aged nicely
The pacing on this storytelling is immaculate.
It’s delicious
Finally, Shokugeki no Garnt reached this channel as well
I’d love a trash taste where all 3 of you cook whatever it is that you think you cook the best, if you do please go through the recipes
Trash Taste Special : Master Chef Arc
Connor's Chicken and Brocolli
Garnt's world famous Lasagna
Joey's deep fried Oreos
Chris's ramen
@@SarumanTheStinky
You mean instant ramen
Oh boy did it happen alright (somewhat)
Same energy as when a restaurant on Kitchen Nightmares puts "World Famous _______ " on their menu
Even more reason for Pewds to join the podcast. He has to let Pewds try the Lasagna.
Extra points if Marcia tries it
Fk Meilyne, getting an actual Italian's approval will determine if it's worthy.
The return arc of Marzia
sad thing is pewds now pescatarian so i don't think garnt gonna be making 2 lasagna just for pewds lol

Sydney is legit meme Queen. Bringing the dead meme back
This is Garnt's foods wars moment right there. XD
Conner and the guys are becoming food reviewer oh goh what is this era
Garfield: "I must try it."
This story kept me going, thanks Garnt.
yes the world famous Lasagna story was my favorite bit of the last pod cast
I can’t believe Garnt had a lasagna training arc.
This is one of Garnts best told stories
Now we need a cooking special, but I doubt Garnt would reveal his lasagna recipe
I don't know how many times you guys mentioned LASAGNA, it became a chant on my head now, I might need to order one for dinner.
by season 10 it won't be "The boys" it'll be "The dads" already getting that vibe from them
There is a whole sea of valuable life lessons in this story
this story had me more invested than most anime
We just like watching some guys just talk to each other
“What’s better than this, guys being dudes”
This would work perfectly for a food review channel.
Garnt is such a main character
This story would be a fantastic animation to do as they say it's a Food Wars moment
Garnt has attained power that might let him stand a chance against Grant. Will he be able to prove that the order of 2 letters doesn't make a difference? Find out on the next episode of Trash Taste Z!
I read that in the exact DBZ tone 😂😂😂
This story is so anime. Right out of a slice of life
It’s like a self-fulfilled prophecy! Started from casual to full-on Food Wars, all originated from Sydney’s joke
Al dente is when the pasta is cooked slightly under which is why it’s to the bite
The “Japanese dude screaming “ is Matsumoto from the super popular tvshow Gaki No Tsukai-Downtown, they’re HUGE in japan. That clip is from a “kiki series” where they try to guess what they’re eating/drinking/smokinh etc among a ton of options
Will Garnt be bringing any of his world famous lasagna to the next convention, I simply must try it. It's world famous after all.
a redemption arc in ten minutes? nice
This gotta be contender for best story
I liked this “Food wars” arc
I also had one bad experience with lasagna sheets from the store.
So now I always make them myself and precook them for 1-1,5 minutes. Now I don't have any problems with my lasagna. But since this dish takes 6-8 hours (if you don't have your ragù ready), I only do it 2 times per year...
I feel so proud of Garnt right now
Lasagna is one of my mom's go-to dishes to make for when we have people over, cuz its one of those things you can completely prepare beforehand and just shove in the oven when the people arive so you dont have to spend half the evening in the kitchen while youve got guests sitting in your living room.
She also makes a damn good lasagna, so I'm not about to complain.
A good lasagna is rare to come by
And its not even that amazing of a dish
But when its done well its just very nostalgic for some reason
Its very filling also
Al dente is a term that we use mostly for rice, it means that we leave the rice a bit raw to have it a bit crunchy
that's by far the best plot i've been witnessing recently. i'm italian and now i wanna taste garnts "World Famous" Lasagna!
This is a whole ass Shoukugeki no Soma arc.
As an Italian I would love to make some lasagna for you guys😂
You should just go to Isetan in Shinjuku! They sell ALL kinds of European dishes as well as lasagna and its very good!
I saw this video today and I must say as an Italian: good job!
I wonder if you used all the original ingredients we Italians usually use!
Tho u bailed the most important thing: a but burner on the edges and let it take its time! ❤️
Garnt makes everything sound anime
Try no bake lasagna noodles. They just get like soft in the oven and you don't boil them. It works pretty well and is a good short cut.
Its like when Spongebob forgot to make the Krabby Patty with Pickles.
Even the most experienced homecook needs to tested the oven out first right? Whenever I`m with a new oven, I make sure the first thing I bake are not easy to fuck up and learn its behavior.
I love how it took him a year to decide to learn how to cook lasagne...
I've tried it, garnt truly makes one of the lasagnas of all time
Al dente means "to the tooth" its basically means cooked to the point where cooked but your teeth still feel alittle bite. It's hard to explain but you feel it when things are cooked perfectly al dente.
this story could be a one shot manga that would be so popular
Tsk this is raw.
Seether's cover of Careless Whisper but cooking themed plays in the background.
tbh out of the 3, I think I trust Garnt cooking more than Joey and Conner of them
Al dente is just before the pasta is cooked. If you remove a spaghetti from the heat as it gets al dente, it’ll be perfect from the residual heat by the time you’re ready to plate.
This lasagna redemption ark was great
Sydney really be that one patrick meme about misinformation 😂
Garnts redemption arc via lasagna
dammit garnt, I'm stuck at home with covid and now I'm craving lasagna.
4:21 it means FIRM to the bite, almost got it right tho
It may not be world famous, but that's definitely a Redemption one.
Garnt just summoned us, Italian people.
When do we get a short anime about this?
I'm waiting for Garnt's World Famous Lasagna Any% speedrun stream
someone is getting volunteerly slapped around :D
when they have a meetup im asking for this lasagna
Proof why you need to an oven thermometer so know they actual temperature of an oven.
Loved the story.
Lasagna is just pasta with attitude
great now i need lasagna
I'm genuinely shocked nobody made a food wars joke
just remember to rest ur lasagna for 10 to 20 minutes
COOKING FOOD TRASH TASTE SPECIALLLL
This is a top tier story
Like Pouf after he fed himself to Meruem.
this ties back to the korean bbq where garnt likes to cook for other people
Garnt food wars arc has started lol
This really gives off King from One Punch Man energy
Garnt I need your personal recipes
Protagonist Garnt strikes again
Al dente means it's not cooked enough and the pasta is too hard, as opposed to "scotto/a" (adjective, not verb) which means it's been coocked for too long and now it's soggy and/or it breaks too easily
shokugeki no garnt
Garnt should make a vid in making this world famous lasagna in his second channel
