Their whole dissension storyline's probably gonna end up with Hangman returning and reuniting them for the battle against the Elite. Adam Page has taken some time away for family duties and he'll definitely be the one to dethrone Omega around Full Gear or maybe later at Revolution.
The addition of Eddie to the commentary team has really elevated Elevation. Eddie was exactly the personality Tony and Paul were missing.

Yeah Paul trying to do 'the face commentator' doesn't really work unless there's a 'heel commentator' to bounce off of. Probably comes from being trained that way under a more rigid system. The good commentators are a lot more fluid, they weave in and out of heel/face, they like who they like and are unapologetic (see for instance Taz (but don't emulate his singing/yodelling)).

It's hard to accept Dustin Runnels being 52 years old because it feels as if he is in his 30's showing of the moves which he showcased back in the 90s and early 2000s. Dustin has not lost his edge at all. He can keep up with the younger guys pretty well.
He's lost some speed, but that's normal. His movement is still incredible.

The Sonny v. Joey match was incredible! Joey's flip on the ring apron was totally insane! Shida was great too!
That through the middle ropes ddt was pretty sweet as well. Sonny Kiss has been a joy to watch since he was on Lucha Underground. That show introduced me to so many people I had never heard of before.

@@colinmathie2710 I get that they want to give the TV spotlight to other women, but the fact that Shida has not given something that even remotely looks like a storyline after her defeat to Britt is quite shameful.
I would be okay to see her having some feud on YT (like Swole and Diamante) but it looks like AEW basically got rid of her as soon as the pandemic was over.
Shida v Slamovich was really good for the time it was given. And Eddie Kingston got to show off his puroresu bonafides on commentary.
I appreciate how Shida always changes up her offense and adds new moves to her set.

Well, Masha and Hikaru were Trained by Chigusa and Emi respectively, therefore they have the Joshi pedigree. Given enough time and storyline they could produce a 4+ star matches regularly.

Sonny Kiss vs Joey Janela is the best match ever in Dark Elevation with the ending appearance of Kayla Rossi doing a standing moonsault.
Sorry, that was a garbage match. The match went for 5 Minutes or so: We saw 4 dives, 3 top rope actions, but no lock ups. They did some kicking and punching and acrobatics, but I haven't seen almost no wrestling. And two pile drivers can't finish a dark show match??? Come on, you can't call this really good.

So invested in this Dark Order storyline right now.
It's really interesting, but I have one major issue with it: it's making Hangman look like a piece of shit. First he came out for the ten man vs The Elite with that video package, talking about a cowboy always lending a hand to a partner and not being afraid to take one, then he turns his back on the Dark Order, and it's tearing itself apart over him and he doesn't care. All he has to is speak one sentence, to say which side is doing right by him, and the other side will fall in line.

I don't think it makes Hangman look like anything, made the choice to go his own way, any problems within Dark Order is on them. Plus, as most people believe, it sets up for possible new leadership of Dark Order.

Everything about this Dark Order Civil War has been so good. I wish it was showcased on Dynamite.
However, I do appreciate that stories like this give people a reason to watch Elevation, Dark, and BTE. We don't need the constant recaps and our hands held. When the content is high quality, the viewership will come.
That Joey vs Sunny match was fun to watch. And whoever that girl is with red pigtails. She is def something else.
Kayla Rossi is her name, I believe. The match was solid and the moonsault stomp was the proper amount of brutal.
MOTN for me was Joey Janela v Sonny Kiss. Both never let up the intensity. Kayla Rossi also got some time to shine.

Hikaru had a great match! Good job by Slamovich. Hikaru needs to be back on Dynamite and finish up that rivalry with Britt!
Slamovich has experience wrestling in Japan; was stuck there for almost all of 2020 thanks to the pandemic. She's definitely someone who Shida didn't have to hold back on.

The thing is the Gunn Club have very rarely lost in all their matches in AEW (singles, tag, trios). That's got to lead to some feud or title aspirations for a group almost entirely performing on the CZcams shows.

The Lucha Bros. and Proud & Powerful may very well be the best 2 teams in the world (Lucha Bros. are the best, in my opinion). It's awesome to see the Latino tag teams tearing it up.
