Kurtis has mentioned before a few times that he’s straight and I believe on the podcast when checking his subreddit he’s said that he prefers it if people don’t speculate on his sexuality. I really appreciate the advice you gave about continuing to push through even if you face rejection. Re: rejections-I have a writing friend who made a goal to get a certain rather large number of rejections in a year. Not that she was trying to get rejected-she submitted good work. But she knew the rejections would vastly outnumber the acceptances, so she made a rejections goal. It helped keep her spirits up, and iirc, she did get at least one piece accepted that year.
