- Song of the Beiyang Fleet is a navy military song used by the Beiyang Division in the Qing Dynasty . The song was lost for a time. In 2009, the Chinese navy History Research Association of China Chen Yue visit mainland Britain when a group from the British Foreign Office archives photocopy accidentally got to find this song written in Chinese, with a staff of the Northern Navy Song of music, and it brought back China Mainland. Later, after the Chinese People's Liberation Army composer Xue Ye reorganized and repaired, the choir of the Song and Dance Troupe of the General Political Department sang the song again.

The music and lyrics paired together were found in 2012 in the UK's Naval Archives, to which the Chinese PLA Navy performed this version using modern instruments they probably wouldn't have used back then, as we have old records of the same tune to a different song the Qing used.
