I love it. I am 80+ and all those other printers you need a Wi-Fi and a lot of unnecessary stuff. Our instructor at the Senior Center recommend this for beginners or someone who is not computer tech.
OK you did an unboxing and copy demonstration on the cannon Pixma MG2522 printer how about doing a setup of loading drivers for the printer and printing off the computer particularly on a laptop?
EXACTLY! I figured the set up for printing hands on copies would be just as easy as this man did it. But I NEED instructions on installation with my lap top and how to copy things from the computer.
I bought one of these turkeys. I needed it while I was on the road and it functioned well and gave me no problems. However, when I went to replace the cartridges, I discovered they were twice the price of the printer. So, I simply bought a second printer.

Hey I Rarely make comments on any Webpages......But Since the instructions that Canon gives you are ok, There lacking in Several Area's !! Which I even don't wanna Bitch about because let's face it, This is a Cheap Ass Printer & Pretty Darn good for the price.
And I'm not looking to spend $200+ on a Printer...!!!!

New Canon PIXMAG2522 replaced a canon pixma, also. Neither were hard to connect. The PIXMA mg2522 came with ink cartridges; in working order, & paper

I have a Window XP computer and I have a Windows 7 computer the software that comes with the printer will that be sufficient to get the printer up and running on my Windows 7 and XP computer I only have access to the internet on my phone and I don't want to buy something is the software that comes with it will not run can you please let me know thank you

Ayyo you didn’t explain what the plug in with the usb is suppose to do, my pc tower doesn’t reach my printer so how am I suppose to plug in that usb into it, I’d appreciate the answer thanks, and you’re telling me I don’t have to download the software into my pc? It says it on the instructions but you didn’t mean ruin anything about the CD which is the software and nothing on the usb plug in
I've had this for awhile and love it. I'm now having to change the ink cartridges,, but THE FIRST CARTRIDGE FELL DOWN AND TO THE LEFT OF THE CARTRIDGE CONTAINER~ 2 OF US CANNOT GET IT OUT. Is there a way to open the unit so I can get to the cartridge?

Printer is working great as you showed in the video but I cannot get it to print through my computer I tried to go through settings and add a new printer but it’s not working
dont forget to close the ink cartridge bay door after loading ink the green power light will just flash at you ,lol took me about 10mins to figure out why it was not working

Sorry but it doesn't work properly. There is a series of three orange flashing lights where it shows a triangle followed by a series of flashing lights in a series of five. The computer says the cartridge is not attached but it was attached properly. I am trying to print using a new cartridge which is off-brand. Any ideas? code 2, 140, 21 shows

The PG-245 gets about 180, so I am going to guess that 80-100 pages is about accurate for the starter cartridges.

This printer doesnt support a chromebook or iphone traditionally.

You can't anyway it doesn't have wireless connection or wifi connection thats why theres a printer cable that comes with this printer that connects only the computer and the printer.
This is only a cheap and basic printer plus copier and scanner.

@@arianavictoria4397 I just bought the printer at Walmart since it was on sale. I got the adapter on Amazon. I went to the document file>print and on the screen print preview on "find printer" and it'll show up as Canon mg2500 series not the Canon mg2522 like it says on the box. I also was having trouble but unfortunately there is no way to wifi connect this printer to new mac os since it is kinda older.

there is a cd included with the printer; hwever, if you don't have a cd-rom drive, the paperwork with the printer gives you where to go for downloading it... like i had to do.

Way too much, this is actually a terrible printer in the sense it goes through ink super fast and the ink is more expensive than the original cost of the printer. Why did I buy it? It was the only one Walmart had when I needed a color printer, and the employee even warned me about the ink issue.
