Man, I know people love to rag on Ed Sheeran, but the original song hit me hard enough after the end of the base game. This version just doubled down on that. I love the story and characters of this game so much. I hope Game Freak continues to put this much effort into their writing from here on. If SV got another year or two in the oven, I’m sure it’d be Top 3 Pokemon games for a LOT more people. I think it’s honesty impressive how the game ended up being as good as it was even in its rushed state. It has a lot of issues and definitely isn’t finished, but they clearly had heart going into this one. Makes me sad this Gen is over now, and we won’t get to see its full potential. I’ve never gotten attached to Pokémon characters as strongly as I did Nemona, Arven, Penny, Carmine, and Kieran. I thought Gens 5 and 7 had my favorite Pokémon stories, but 9 blasted up there for me.

I actually really love this remix, even though it is kind of just a worse version of the original song... But really, this song is so much better in terms of the sheer symbolism. I feel like this song is just symbolic of our friendship with Kieran throughout this DLC. You mess up, Kieran goes down a dark path... but the end, you start over again, rinse and repeat. Though, I realise 'rinse and repeat' means repeating the same thing again, I mean this more in reverse, you start your friendship over again. And with how things are working out in the Mochi Madness epilogue, it seems to work out well. I love this game so much, in all its bugs and imperfections, I still love what we got.
If Scarlet and Violet had been given another six months to a year of development time to iron out all the bugs, could have been an absolute masterpiece. But since Pokemon is the largest media franchise in the entire world right now, The Pokemon Company knew they could get away with releasing it in the state it was and still make massive bank. That said, I like this song. It feels far more bittersweet than the original version. The Gen 9 journey is truly over now. The mystery of Area Zero have been fully solved, and with the capture of Terapagos, any potential crisis that the Terastal phenomenon could cause has been averted for the foreseeable future. If you completed the Paldea, Kitakami and Blueberry Dexes when I did, then all that's left is multiplayer.
This is so much better than the chart pop slop of the original, like the original wasn't awful but it's so generic chart pop and this feels a bit deeper for me personally. Cried the whole credits can confirm.
Both are good. The original captures the feeling of The Way Home. Sad, yet upbeat, for the endless possibilities that could occur. This one captures the feeling of The Indigo Disk. Makes you feel like your journey has come to an end, and you just renewed your friendship with Kieran.

this song turned me into a blubbering mess of tears. i love scarlet/violet so much.
I had read blueberrying, lmao
Toby Fox having to remix an Ed Sheeran song for a Pokemon game is insane
Toby Fox and Ed Sheeran on their way to drop the greatest banger of 2023:
Lyrics:
You see, tonight, it could go either way
Hearts balanced on a razor blade
We are designed to love and break
And to rinse and repeat it all again
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat it all again
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
I get stuck when the world's too loud
And things don't look up when you're goin' down
I know your arms are reachin' out
From somewhere beyond the clouds
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
I get stuck when the
I get stuck when the
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
I get stuck when the
I get stuck when the
I see the light shinin' through the rain
A thousand colors in a brighter shade
Needed to rise from the lowest place
There's a silver lining that surrounds the grey
When I get lost, will it come back around?
Things don't look up when you're goin' down
I know your arms, they are reachin' out
From somewhere beyond the clouds
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
When I get lost
When I get lost
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
I get stuck when the
I get stuck when the
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
come back around?
come back around?
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
I get stuck when the
I get stuck when the
You see, tonight, it could go either way
Hearts balanced on a razor blade
We are designed to love and break
And to rinse and repeat it all again
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
When I get lost
When I get lost
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
I get stuck when the
I get stuck when the
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
come back around?
come back around?
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
I get stuck when the
I get stuck when the

rinse and repeat
When I get lost
When I get lost
rinse and repeat
rinse and repeat
I get stuck when the
I get stuck when the

My miraidon really beated the crap out of the terapagos (although he was pretty much damaged by earth power that terapagos has)
I regret not using Miraidon in that fight
I would assume it's because of copyright, but I wish this was in the super music collection
Nothing says "Pokémon" quite like "Rinse and repeat."
The original was better.
I disagree ^^
@@taliansafou7951 same 😂
