Fear Reactive Bernadoodle & Cavalier King Charles Start Their Public Access Work

The super high anxiety, crazy impulsive duo, Raiden & Fletcher, had their very 1st store experience at Lowes today to test all of their obedience out in the real world! After learning how to better manage some pretty serious fear-based reactivity to all things new & unfamiliar, we’re now testing what they’ve learned so far, out in real world experiences!
I LOVE the second week of training for this very reason! We get to test all of a dog’s newfound skills in public to see where we still may need some additional work. And for these kiddos, it’s just going to be a matter of controlled exposure and accountability.
Boy what a difference a week of training has made for them! From being completely driven by their reflex to react to uncertainty, to now holding command while new and unfamiliar triggers are presented! Awesome job boys!
