    Thank you for this! I've been using Particular FOREVER but I wanted to build something that my teammates without Particular would be able to use. This is a perfect substitute for a simpler explosion and the light beam is a really added bonus tip. Great tutorial

      Thank you, glad i could help! Yeah, Particular is amazing but sadly not available/affordable for everyone. I whish Adobe would implement a more advanced particle option into After Effects...

    Hello thanks for the tutorial ! I tried but is there a way to make an explosion with less particles ? Like 4-5 particles.. I've been trying but lowest i can go is birth rate at 0.4 and it's still too much (i get around 7-8). Should i actually animate the particle one by one ? Maybe im doing smth wrong

    Thanks for helping set this up. How do I export this to Lottie so I can use it in my prototype files?

    nice tuts! could you tell us how to make it appear on bottom, so it can explode to the top?

    • @AliasDesign
      @AliasDesign  Před 7 měsíci

      Within the Particle World effect open up the "producer" setting. There you can adjust the position of the particle starting point :)

    Good tutorial, does it also work with a transparent background? How?

    • @AliasDesign
      @AliasDesign  Před 6 měsíci

      Yes, the process is the same, simply remove the solid background! You just have to change the render settings to export it with transparent background.
