I am with Carla Denyer on this one - Labour have changed, they've changed into another Tory party!

It's identity theft... the UK Zionist Party has stolen the Labour Party's clothes... and stuffed their pockets full of money from rogues...
My bafflement is... why are British trade unions, and Co-op movement, still affiliated with, and sponsoring, these rogues?...

It's funny how those of us who saw through Keef's lies and were called all manner of unpleasant names for trying to warn others can now turn around and say: I told you so...

@Celadonfae The saddest part to me is that we've all come to expect this from the Tory and Reform supporters..."just drink the koolaid and ignore anything negative, as long as its our guy in power we're winning!"..treating politics with all the gravity of an xfactor final where the public get to vicariously share the glory of whoever they voted for as the winner, no matter how crap they are.
I never really expected it from the left...maybe that's my own naivety.

We knew this when he said he was the unity candidate and then began a purge of the left wing of the party.. I just love seeing everyone defending this online and still calling me a tory for pointing out that when starmer promised change, he ment it as more like moving the chairs around..

I believe all people should learn MMT and the basics of Keynesian macro-economics and hammer Labour on their kindergarten economics every day forever.
This is where the real battle is and has been for 50 years. Blairites accepting Neo-Liberalism was the surrender of labour to capital, of 99.9% to the 0.1%. A relative utopia is very achievable - but we choose to listen to the British Establishment as they tell us fairy tales about why they're getting insanely rich while the nation is increasingly impoverished. When you see their economics properly critiqued, you'll be gobsmacked. It is literally kindergarten economics. It is also the greatest waste of humanity imaginable

That speech was totally performative. They knew exactly how bad the economy was before they inherited it.
What it looks like to me is Starmer laying the groundwork to introduce policies that weren't included within their manifesto that would have driven away support if they'd mentioned it during the campaign cycle. Now he gets to say things like handing our infrastructure to private finance via the British Infrastructure Council that was set up by Reeves last year...are desperate measures that are the only available fix.
    He's a seriously duplicitous guy.

Difference only ,on issues that do not mess the oligarchy's plans for ownership of everything.
You can have LGBTQ+ rights as long as the resources and wealth of the country is in the hands of the 1%.
You can't have strikes bcs they mess the profits of the 1%.
You can have fox hunting so that you don't worry about rising rents
You can have freedom of speech as long as you don't cause their shares to go down.
      And so on....
