- Finally at long last I get my hands on a C8 Z06 Corvette. My order is now punted to the 2024 C8 Corvette Z06 but am blown away by how amazing this car is. As a stingray owner, this car is on another level and Chevy has hit a homerun. Truly competes with Lamborghini, Ferrari, and McLaren in the Supercar space. The C8 Z06 has a very functional and comfortable interior, mixed with the sounds of a 5.5L Flat plane crank V8, and moves with a wide and imposing stance.
Today lets do a walkaround review, go for a quick drive, and my initial impressions of this car.
It is insane to think that this car competes with some legendary Italian exotic brands for a fraction of the price. The Corvette Engineering team has achieved the unthinkable with the C8 Z06.
670 horsepower. 8600 rpm redline. This is the most powerful naturally aspirated production V8 ever. Will it be able to live up to the hype?

Great video. Just sold my C8 Stingray after 3 years. My Z06 is being built the week of July 24. Can't wait.
Congrats. You will love it. Installed high flow cats tonight and what a 10 hour nightmare. The car sounds insane from the factory and honestly doesn't need any mods.
I personally own a C8 Z06 and it’s one of my favorite cars! Out preforms most of my other cars and rides so good!

That car is amazing... the dream. I have a the regular C8 version of 70th coupe and love it, but the Z06 was the dream if I wasn't so late to the party. I live in the Boston area too, maybe I'll see you around =)

Owner plans to go to Carbon Fiber on the Exterior?
IMO, you do all Carbon Fiber or Carbon Flash. I don’t like mixing together the two.
White is not my favorite color, but it does look great. I prefer Red Mist! My 2022 is that color and if I get an ERAY, Riptide Blue will probably get the nod.
(I’m #1 at my local dealership for the ERAY and #3 in line for a ZO6.)
Allocations for ZO6 may take awhile, my Salesperson told me: there’s like a “formula” sort of thing, that the dealership must sell sell so many Stingray 3LTs and then they look at the entire Sales District. Well, something like that.
Hope window tint is not a problem. PA is pretty tough on inspections.

@@JumpSquadAutoDidn’t you say previously that you’re a Truck Guy? Thought you’d be taking the TRX for an intersection take over. Have you seen some of the Crazy Stunts/💩 being pulled? I’m sure you have. Those people are totally irresponsible!
@@kerry_glock Ive always been a truck guy and corvettes came late. I have seen some of those take over videos and so crazy and dumb. I am all good lol. People are breaking bones from out of control cars....I am sure its youtube gold.....but im happy walking circles around a car with a go pro lol....so much easier

Your driving footage was in tour mode. Would've sounded better in Z mode.
I went through the modes off camera and for sure sounds awesome in track mode with valves open
I should get mine by year end. I am worried the low end torque isn’t good enough, being a track high rev car. I won’t track the car extensively. Let me know your thoughts…..
The car low end is plenty fast. You do have to throttle hard to pull hard. You do have to get into the power band to move quick but it revs up so fast you wont really have any issue or regrets with low end torque or pull
