  • It's been a hell of a fight to make this one happen! We've been coasting along nicely with our reactions for a while now, and it's finally caught up to us. But ain't no copyright block gonna stop us! We found a way through, and in the process uncovered what could be the rarest piece of Beatles footage to date 👀 That's right, we've discovered the long lost 5th member of the band! See for yourself 😁

Was a 12 year old girl at that concert that day. It was so, so amazing. Fans broke through the back stadium gate, and we’re pushed back by horseback police. Lifelong memory

Oh my!!!!! Wow 😱 Absolutely amazing! 👏👏👏 Thanks for sharing your perspective from inside the stadium. What a special show indeed! Very envious of you. Can't imagine how exciting it must've felt being there 😃

LOL 🤣 Grew up with the Beatles and my mom was a huge Beatles fan! I remember when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show my mom bought us all TV Dinners so we can eat them in the living room while watching the Beatles!! 😱😱 I remember this Shea Stadium performance and there was nothing like this in the United States! The Beatles stopped touring cuz they couldn’t hear themselves sing due to the immense screams!!

What a memory!!! Your childhood must've been pretty great with bands like the Beatles rising to stardom 😍 Nothing would compare to the excitement of seeing those guys pioneering the world of rock music and making stadium shows a thing! Never knew that about why they stopped touring 😂 Makes total sense!

@@RUBFigs If you want to see a show with the Beatles in top form, then I recommend the New Musical Express show from 1964. In 1965 you can already see signs of fatigue in the group at the live concerts and especially "I'm down" in this legendary Shea-concert they didn't really play it really serious. By the way, the studio version is much harder and wilder. It is quite interesting, to compare the live shows from 1963 to 1966. You can see from year to year, that they had less and less interest in presenting themselves to the mostly hysterical audience and in 1966 in particular it was sometimes quite dangerous to appear at all, as the Beatles, as a social phenomenon, with some groups (e.g. religious fundamentalists - USA, traditionalists - Japan, politicians - Philippines) got into conflicts, not to mention the fans, whose enthusiasm often found no bounds. Here's the NME concert czcams.com/video/v6y4A8U7Hmo/video.html and here's a sensational reception in australia czcams.com/video/zBhzJjjlMkE/video.html (with Jimmy Nicol in some scenes for Ringo Starr, who was for some days in a hospital).

Mind-blowing!!! Thank you infinitely for all that info 🙏 You've taught me a lot I didn't know about the band here! Very fascinating stuff and it explains a lot 😀 Thank you also for the links!!! Great suggestions! Will add these to the list 👀 I'll make sure to look further into whether or not reacting to these without a copyright block is possible before getting too far ahead of myself next time 😅 These look very promising. Many thanks for all your help 🙂

First stadium concert ever. 56,000+ in attendance. Long before playback, so they couldn’t hear themselves (yet remarkably in tune) and the audience heard through the house PA system. Crazy. Wish I had been alive!

John just went nuts on the keyboard. He and George had a blast! The birth of the stadium concert…they were using the stadium PA with a massive crowd, so the sound quality was poor

Very interesting to see their original approach to doing a stadium show given there was no blueprint. The performance itself was quite something though 😃 The keyboard solos were insane!

Thanks been asking for I’am Down to many. You are the first Beatle fan to review. Another of Paul’s songs that has not been reviewed
My Baby Maybe add to your list.

Thank you for coming along! Without people like you making suggestions on what to watch next, I'd have no idea where to begin! Your input is very much appreciated, and I'm more than happy to add that song to the list. Thanks 😁

For a song that turns out to be a B Side, it's really freaking good!

Thank you for those!!! Both links are dead for me though 😬 Could potentially be only blocked in certain parts of the world? Reacting to the Beatles is going to be a challenge moving forward with all of these copyright blocks 🚫 But will do my best to navigate through

@@RUBFigs Awwww that’s a shame!! That’s one of the reasons why Queen has such a huge fan base … their videos are rarely blocked. 😁
