    Add one tooth out back that would help a lot.Way less flame outs.

    Try running your traction control on all the time with your ECU set to the first map all the time. I rarely have flame outs.

      I will try this for sure. I did notice I had no flameouts in my other videos where I was deliberately testing the TC.

    Got mine coming in a few days! Interesting that there isn't much content on the Beta 350 rr Race Editions. I'm coming off a yz250f so thinking this is more smooth in power and better suitable for woods riding. Cheers!

      Yeah not a lot of content. Make sure to check out 3Seasrecreation on here. Best Beta content.

      I started on a yz250F and that was my one and only primary woods bike and it was great (not sure if the previous owner modified it for woods riding but I loved it in the woods nonethelss). That said, I did have scary moments on ithe yz250f where just a little accidental blip would scare me quite a bit. I now have a 2021 390 Race Edition and while it has tons of power, it is so smooth that I find the scary, whisky throttle moments, to be much more infrequent. I rode yesterday with a buddy and loaned him my yz for the ride and he does not ride frequently so he also noted that the bike does give you some scary moments especially if it's slick out. Both are great bikes in my opinion, the 390 is just a great all-arounder once you get it dialed for your riding style and maybe for some, straight out of the box. The 2021 RE's had stiffer forks as noted so I've gone down to softer springs in the fork and it has really made a great difference. The other thing I would note is that the 140 rear is a bit misplaced imo on a 390 4t. I now have a 110 width in the rear and that change makes the handling feel more nimble imo as well.

      I have been riding this bike a lot lately. Loving it!

      I just keep repeating my mantra……”you don’t need ANOTHER bike John…..you are satisfied and complete” over and over and over lol. I do like that bike. Demo’d at cord last year……so many great options out there now….

      Man oh man.... I keep going back and fourth 24 300 RE or 390RE?
      At least I'm pretty sure I've made up my mind to go with the Race edition over the RR! @@ripnriding1

      @@TW-vm5zk never saw this, but definitely go for the KYB. It’s so good out of the box. I still haven’t had my suspension worked and have had my 300 with Sachs done twice and the KYB is still better.

    How is the engine brake in downhill? Is it invasive or is it smooth? Thanks

    • @motovalleyenduro
      @motovalleyenduro  Před 7 měsíci

      I have found it to be very smooth. I can ride it back to back with my 300 and do not have to recalibrate my riding. Terrific bike!

    Have you ridden a KTM umbrella 350?
    How does the aggressiveness compare ?
    Could you Moto this bike if you wanted too ?

    • @motovalleyenduro
      @motovalleyenduro  Před 5 měsíci

      I have ridden a Husky 350 and a KTM 350 Factory edition. The KTM felt good, the Husky felt terrible. I have moto’d this bike a few times and the suspension is awesome.
      It certainly is the bike for higher speed XC racing, GP racing and fast hare scrambles. Not an advanced moto bike but certainly capable up to an intermediate.

    Have you ever rode a Beta 390? If so what made you choose the 350?

    • @motovalleyenduro
      @motovalleyenduro  Před 11 měsíci +2

      I owned a 390 actually. It is a beast. Very good low down torque and was great for slower single track with a fan etc. The 350 is a bit livelier and needs to be thrashed a bit more but is a lot of fun. They have their own character and I wanted a race bike vs an all rounder if that makes sense. Both great bikes.

      @@motovalleyenduroHello, thanks for the review. I am choosing between beta 350 and 390 racing coming from ktm 300 exc. I will be racing our cross country and enduro championship and i am about 170 pounds. Which one would you recommend to me ?

    • @motovalleyenduro
      @motovalleyenduro  Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@peterrakovan2149 both would be a great option. I think the 390 would be better for slower more technical riding as it is a longer stroke engine than the 350 so it lugs better. The 350 is more of a top end bike. I use my 300 for hard enduro but my 350 is quickly becoming my XC Race and all around trail bike. It’s so good. You really can’t go wrong with either one. I highly recommend the race edition with KYB if you can especially if racing.

      @@motovalleyenduro indeed KYB is one of the main reason why i am switching from KTM to BETA. Do you know how many HP and torque does 390 have ? I can find dyno test only for 350. According to that BETA 350 should have similar power to KTM 350 exc but little bit more torque. Is this accurate ? Thank you
