- Went to the Canadian International Autoshow in Toronto to check out the new Toyota trucks including the 2024 Land Cruiser, Tacoma, and Lexus GX550. Also took a look at the other TRD Pro trucks like the Tundra. Sequoia, and outgoing 5th Gen 4Runner.

I bought a 5th gen sr5 instead of waiting for next gen. I've wanted one for quite a while now and would rather get the one I've been eyeing up for years and is most reliable.
I'll stick with my 4th gen 4runner thank you very much!
I’m torn. The GX is spectacular. But I also love the new Taco.
I really love the Land Cruiser but my 2018 4runner is set up perfectly for me and… it’s paid off. I hate car payments more than I love a new Land Cruiser. So it’s my 4runner till the wheels fall off!! And I loooove it ❤️
My opinion of that terra colour is it’s horrific. Saw the 4runner in terra at collingwood Toyota. A cross between Willy wonka’s chocolate river and newborn baby poop. 🤷🏻♂️
Haha I thought of baby poop too 😂. I think Terra looks worse in person than in pics... your 5th gen is dialed!

Give the Land Cruiser a couple years for Toyota to work out the kinks. I'd take either one if money were not a problem. So,.... For now, I'll keep my 4th gen. It's paid for... :^)

I have a 06 tacoma with 400k km. I need to change the trans, is it worth it ? Idk If I should invest 3-4k
If the rest of it is rust free and you plan on keeping it, it could be worth it
yes, toyota tech here, get the transmission and fix your car, its cheaper than a 50k new toyota.
I dont get why every single vehicle thats moved onto the new TNGA platform has lost rear seat legroom.
If I had to guess, I'd say it's to make space for the hybrid battery?
5th gen TRD pro for 55k USD or base Land Cruiser that only comes in black gray or white for 55k USD… I’ll stick with the 5th gen

Looked shorter in video reviews! I wonder what their reasoning was to build an all new truck, yet make the rear seat smaller on the crew cab? Why not make it three inches longer? Otherwise, you would have e to take a much larger and much more expensive Tundra?

That first edition LC250 will be over $100,000 Canadian. The 1958 edition is a very basic plastic version with cloth seats. The 24 TRD Pro has way more options and a better suspension than the 1958. Pricing will be interesting. If it's $55k US it should be $70,000 Canadian if the 24 Pro price equates the same. The Tacoma TRD off-road is $58,000 CAD so the hybrid version of the off-road should be a minimum $65,000, Tacoma TRD Pro will have to hit at least $75,000.
Yup I agree, those numbers make sense. Remember when you could get a decent new Yota truck for $40k cad? 😂

Interesting. Lots of gimicky stuff. The '24 4Runner is really ancient and overpriced at this point, but honestly I'd prefer it vs. the rest of this.
