we have the exact same facial hair type. The density, the growth pattern. I found the perfect video!
Thanks! I'm just beginning to grow myself a proper beard.. (18) so It's nice to learn the basics of maintaining a nice beard!
I love the way you appreciate and not looking down on the "just uniform touch" trim
This is perhaps the best beard grooming tip I have seen in a while!!
Shout out to the badboi Phillips trimmer of the decade
Mike Thurston has yours not ran of battery yet? 🤣🤣🤣
Louis Armstrong nah. Haven’t trimmed my leg hair for like 2 months now. Minimal hair removal in general occurring right now.

Cheers Louis/Mike 👍🏻
Nice one, thanks for the tips. I've got good heavy stubble with even coverage naturally, I liek how yours is darker near the bottom and lighter under the cheeks. Trimming mine to create this look as I think it looks sharp and emphasises the jaw line.

3mm all around was the best advice I’ve ever gotten
Been needing a new beard trimmer for a while. Copping this one now! Thanks boss!

Mine arrived today and used it just now. Not amazing and when I use it on a 3 like him, hardly any hair comes off.....
Appreciate the step by step, I kept butchering my stubble by going way to low overall. Thanks again 👍🏻
Best video i have seen regarding this topic !! Thanks cheers from Toronto
i cant believe i actually watched a man shave his beard for 10mins. But to be honest what a great video i learnt so much

Well I watched your video...it was great. Us men think we are always trimming and shaving the best.i took all your advice and I must admit it was so much better than I normally do. Cheers buddy
The kind of tips I was looking for. Thanks!
We have a lot of the same thought and I've learned this over time just naturally... So strange. I came here to learn new tips... I am guilt of trimming along the jawline but underneath a little more so it's not noticeable unless someone is below me. Also I have a great tip! I have very oily and sensitive skin so the hair always sticks and gets ingrown. That is until I used a decent lint roller to remove all the hairs and dead skin. It's basically tape and you use a couple sheets. But that makes it so there's nothing on your face or stuck in poored when you wash. Keep up the great work man! I tried to show my girlfriend the video to say "see I'm not the only one" but she was busy lol. Pce man!
Nice one Louis, this is really helpful...All The Best.
So glad I’ve found this video. Just grown my first beard and it is looking a mess. Now I know how to look after it. Thanks.
Great tips. I use the Norelco MG7790 and have had good performance. I'll look at the Phillips when I'm ready for a new one. Looks like McThursti gives it a thumbs up too so it must be proper.
I find that strangers make more eye contact with me when I have a short beard than with a long one. Much depends on how much you smile, though. Great beard trim and haircut from the barber.
Great vid mate. It's always exciting when I see you post another vid cuz theres just such good, clean, open feeling vibes
Good unique content. That’s what I searching for.
Thanks bro. Great video. For some reason most people making videos for the "short beard" are well into "medium beard" length. Appreciate the great tips
Great video! Thanks for all the advice!
You do a good job there buddy. I always mess mine up. So end taking it all off with a mac 3 haha
Perfect video thank you mate!!
Thank you! This video was really helpful!
Just ordered mine, thanks for making the video! :-)
Great video bro gonna give this a try when I get home! Mahalo🤟🏾
Best instruction so far😊👍👍
Thanks! Super useful.
Your hair looking amazing man any tutorials for that?
Good video man, helped me allot! 👊🏼
Cool buddy, impressive!
1:35 the ‘tache is a vibe! Defo suits your face. Great video though 👌🏼

Thanks your video helped me my wife loves it.
Good tutorial man. Cheers.
It's amazing how a good beard adds to attractiveness
My facial hair is still quite short but if it ever grows out more This will be useful xD Thanks for the tutorial either way :3
Fantastic video! You got a new sub ✅
I like this video. What are your thoughts on trimming under nose to give the mustache more shape (as opposed to letting it grow up into nostrils)? Thanks!
The natural way a mustache grows under the nose looks much better then that stupid line some ppl like to do
You ever tried the phillips 9000 prestige bud? And how would you compare it to this one?
Thanks, God bless you, mate!!
Thx for the top instructions from Germany 🤙👌
Thank you so much man I followed you
For those trying to get the "U" shape under the chin, I go with placing two finger widths above my adam's apple to get a good point of reference.
Just love your hair style...the beard just makes it even better... gay love !
Thanks again for sharing
Wow, Louis Armstrong's appearance has changed drastically since he was last documented by photograph in 1971! Fountain of youth I see, haha. Anyway Louis, we'd love to see you pull the ol' trumpet out again sometime soon, jazz misses you.
Nice bro ,i like philip ,👍

your power level is showing..
Im 21 , I don’t have a beard but i live for these videos 😅
You basically have a beard design naturally and in my opinion this is a bonus lol. You even trimmed the lower part shorter and it still looks a bit longer (because it’s heavier) this is good imo because that means you don’t have to work too much swapping the trimmer heads and it can look good even with only one length all around.
Thanks for teaching me how to shave Dad.
Really helpful 👍
Hey Louis. Need to let you know today on American TV you were featured in a CZcams commercial. It was showing your DIY haircut tutorial along with other CZcamsrs. It was very quick but there you were!
great video man. wish i had your hair
When i do mine i go downwards but i tend to have mine a touch longer so if yours was longer then would you still go against the grain?
do you use a guard on your trimmer? I cant see whether you have one or not
Phillips is the one 🔥
Thanks, I'll try😊
Cheers Louis, can you recommend what to do if you have 3 chins? Asking for a friend....................
Can you do a skincare routine and how do you get your teeth so white?
Good video thanks for the information.
Quick heads up to anyone from the US that is interested in purchasing the "Philips Series 5000" showcased in this video.
The Wall Plug included with the charger is a Type C plug, you'll need to buy an outlet adapter if you don't already have a Type C outlet in your house/apartment.
Wish I knew this before-hand, but I figured I'd comment this anyways.

Thanks my guy
Soaaar!!!
Great review.
3mm looks great
Braun BT 7240 is also great. BTW What did you do that your teeth are so white and clean?
Thanks mate, that's a good video
So cute !
I’m so bored of my beard, it grows a bit higher and thicker on my cheeks, might go short like you so might like it a bit more! Also picking up that trimmer 👍🏼 been after a replacement for ages
So going for stubble not a beard?
@@garethward-stevens1596 inbetween
Is there anyway to charge the trimmer in the uk since it's a different socket
Hi Johnny! Johnny Bravo!
We trim very similar. I may have a little more on the upper cheek and I have more between the stache & beard, other than that, I do the same process, but a tad bit longer.
Mine is the same - I do my chin and neck at 1.5, tache and jaw / cheeks at 3.
And also like you, it looks best a day or two after. 👍🏼
Maybe you like: upshavers.com/best-stubble-trimmer/
What trimmer do you use? And do you do your moustache at 1.5 or 3?
@@adam9209 I’ve actually changed a bit since this comment..ha! I do my beard at 3.5, chin at 2, and neck at 3. Moustache at 3. I use a Braun trimmer
@@ollieking31 thanks. I’ve recently shaved and just waiting for it to grow back so I can keep the stubble
Stubble
Ignore all the cocky vikings - great video! Like the different tips especially the one to solve the darker patchy areas when trimming. Finished look is great ...and shaved hairs in the eye is a definite pain in the a** (or eye)
am currently growing out my beard so that I can start making it look nice
@Ben: How long will you let it grow before you start making it look nice?
My beard is the same as you. A little patchy. More than 3mm is well? Like 4 and 5 at the sides.
It's the best, but you've bought 3 of them? How good can it b f it doesn't last?
But sum people say to trim the patch to blend it in with the terminal hair
The neck acne might be ingrown hairs that need to come out, caused by not using a guard. I love everything else but I’d recommend sticking to a straight/safety razor for the neck, especially if you’re prone to persistent acne. Anyone asking about skincare should probably start with exfoliating for sure if using a beard trimmer
Correct
Love your accent
This is beautiful i tell you guys I achieve this look with just a blade and a 0mm razor I wish o could afford some guards
Watching from Ireland
Tips : If you somehow get a hair or a dust in your eye, guys, don't try to get it out with your finger because you are going to push it into your eye and it will be more difficult to get rid of it, simply at first try to blink your eye a couple of times and if that doesnt work rince it with some physiological serum or some water and blink.
If all that doesnt work, get a Q-tip, put some physiological serum on it and gently try to grab it with the Q-tip.
My grandma told me to just close your eye for few minutes and ur tears will push it out
What if its in both your eyes?
nice tutorial boss ;)
I've got the same trimmer
Youve got no right being that good looking
Most helpful video I've ever watched on CZcams, thank you. Years of grooming ignorance can finally be behind me
Must be the 1st video you have ever watched i n your entire life
Where can I find that blue bracelet that you're wearing on your hand? I like it a lot...
Did you find where to buy the bracelet from?
How you shape it like yours? I have one that’s got point other is flat at bottom
Good video 👍
You’re so cute Louis 😍😍😍🥰 greetings from Ecuador ❤
so im really late to this video but any help would be nice
so my beard is still growing a good bit but when i decide to trim it what can i do with my side burns so it still blends in nicely
rn my sideburns and the side of my head are all connected with the beard and are the same length but the side of my head will grow hair faster than the beard and sideburns
Good tips! Also I trim my hair from the face at different dimensions in order to get a stubble beard.
Real great video, greatly appreciated
Def going to try that machine! That sweater is looking awesome btw, Whats the name of it or where can I get it from (I can briefly tell its Nike)
Haven't got a name, but it might be on Nike's website. If you're in UK perhaps check out JD Sports
Yes mate
"lets do this side now, boys and girls"
Thats very inclusive of you hahaha
Uh yeah girls do have beards. They rather pluck than shave though, which is why you seldom see it.
MooiLife maybe in India, but in western countries girls don’t have beards😂
@@jsmith7888 Yes they do, there are varying levels of hormones that can cause beard growth or hormonal disorders. Also, those Indian girls can live in the west as well. Just cause you haven't seen them doesn't mean they don't exist.
What brand/model is this please?
I like when you said boys and girls 😄
Philips 7000 series is the best trimmer one should buy
Thanks father
